Electronic-rock innovators INFECTED MUSHROOM will appear at Terminal 5 on Saturday, October 3 for their biggest New York City show yet. Tickets for this all ages show are now available online through www.terminal5nyc.com or www.ticketmaster.com, phone 800-745-3000 and the Mercury Lounge box office at 217 E. Houston St at Essex.

The show is in part of a record release party celebrating their upcoming new album LEGEND OF THE BLACK SHAWARMA due out September 8, 2009 on electronic music giant Paul Oakenfold�s Perfecto label. At Terminal 5, INFECTED�s Amit �Duvdev� Duvedevani (vocals) and Erez Eisen (keyboards) will be joined by Rogerio Jardim (drums) and Tom Cunningham (guitar) for an intense live show highlighting songs from the new album, plus material from their previous seven releases.

On Legend Of The Black Shawarma, the Israeli-bred, Los Angeles-based electronic duo continue to push sonic boundaries and return with their patented hybrid of thrashing metal and psychedelic trance to bring a frenetic rock energy to the form and venture where other electronic acts fear to tread. It takes INFECTED MUSHROOM's psy-trance fusion of bruising, metallic rock and unstoppable dance-floor beats to a new level and sees the pair teaming with high-profile rockers. The album�s lead single �Smashing the Opponent� features a scorching vocal from Korn�s Jonathan Davis, while Jane�s Addiction frontman and alt-rock trailblazer Perry Farrell lends his inimitable pipes to the follow-up track �Killing Time.�

Thanks to INFECTED MUSHROOM's genre-pushing songs and incendiary performances, the musically adventurous outfit has become one of the biggest live electronic bands on the planet. Awesome pics! Any idea if the booth is in the same spot? I remember it being nice and high in the air, but I was always pretty bombed by the time I entered that place

I recall 3 different booth setups over the years.

The one they used most (2001-2003), was elevated off the dance floor a little, on the far side of the main room when you walked in.

Then later they switched it back to the mezzanine.

And I believe they once set it up on the actual stage for a PVD show.

IM will 100% be on the stage for this one.

Yea that sounds about right, although I didn't go to the PVD show. My most clear recollection of that stage was my buddy taking a digger off the end of it and subsequently demanding that we leave immediately

Oh and I'm sure IM will be on the stage since they do a massive live show, but I wasn't sure if it would maybe be like it was for the show in Atlantic City a couple years back (ie, stage for IM, elevated booth for DJ's). That'd be kinda cool. Either way, will be tons o' fun
