Well, I'm not sure whether it's true, but him along with a few others are the ones that started it all...I think PvD is also one of the pioneers of Loveparade.

Some idiots in the german press released an article where Westbam and PvD "told" that they are not supporting this Loveparade and that they will decline taking part in it. PvD posted his own answer and comment on that article and said, that he would never say such things and that the real meaning of his words was - Loveparade is not supported BY THE BERLIN AUTHORITIES, because of that PvD is thinking about the possible difficulties.
Do not believe the rumors.
If you can read in russian, visit PvD in Russia all info + interview translation is posted there
