Wow... life goes by too fast... Nuit Blanche time already

I think this time we are following the advice of Alex... last time we had to many *wtf I dont get it* moments... we seemed to always end up at the strangest exhibits.

And we will learn from last years mistake and go to zone c first.

lol I had the same problem 2 years ago - except for the ROM exhibit, everything else seemed like the biggest waste of time!

i had a great time both times i went. tbh, the best part is just experiencing the city in a different way with a few close friends and thousands of strangers at the same time.

It really is. I just liked hangout out all night.

Tip: bring a flask, some sandwiches and a bike.

yah but you can do it any day really, as long as it's nice out and all
this event doesn't live up to hype at all!

I had a great time last year. Just takes a bit of planning.

Last year, I hit up a a few things right in my hood at the start of the night, then went to the other side of town and worked my way back towards home.

Made a point to only do things that didn't require a line-up to see. Only did open air / outdoor things / etc.

- Get a small crew of friends (but not too many, or people have too many different agendas)
- Dont separate
- Dont do anything with a line
- Enjoy the 'wtf' factor
- Plan your route so at the end of the night your close to home

I recommend checking out "Twofold", designed by some of my classmates

TWOFOLD by GALTstudio (Zone C)
"City spaces converge in contrasting tempos, hosting endeavours of differing speed and intention. Through a fabric of light and sound, twofold explores intersections in time and space, translating them into tangible experience. The plurality of individual experience affects and is affected by conditions amplifying and directing the speed and intention of movement. Twofold explores the impact of the pace in which we manoeuvre, observe and affect a space. The intersection of two constructed situations-fast and slow, destination and wander-offers a new reading of the city as myriad forces and tempos of activity."
