Clarion Vs Panasonic, need caraudio help.....
Well im getting my car soon, and my b-day is today, so i was wondering what to get......I was looking into the clarion Dxz825 here
https://www.onlinecarstereo.com/car...t.asp?sku=12322
or the panasonic cq-df602u here
https://www.onlinecarstereo.com/car...t.asp?sku=12155
so i was wondering which is best, and if anyone has anymore suggestions for which to get lemme know......my price range is 200-300 tops
mmm, dat panasonic is purdy
do the both of them have MP3 capabilities? If so, I'd go with the panasonic.
If these are the ONLY two head units you are considering, then I say go with the panasonic. It has a higher RMS wattage value.
I say you should go with a highend Kenwood mp3 headunit. I had a Blaupunkt as my first Headunit. I loved that thing. If you have any car audio questions, PM me.
these arent the only ones im considering, im up for suggestions but doubt i can go past 300$
or anyone know anything about the Nakamichi 45Z
www.thezeb.com cheap and good.
Online car stereo is run by a bunch of arabs. I tried to return my shit, and they were assholes. Fuck that company.
The zeb knows their shit too, just ask them.
i got a clarion deck in my car.......it depends on what u plan to do, clarion is one of the most reliable audio company in the world......if u plan to have/got subs in your car go with the panasonic as it level control but the clarion has lower frequency response than the panasonic.......but personally imo i would go for the clarion as the quality all round is much better than the panasonic
I went for the Kenwood z919 MP3 player, Kenwood excelon 5 1/4s all the way around, a Rockford 500a4 powering those, and a RF 360a2 bridged to 600 by 1 powering an infinity perfect 10.
I love it
what about MP3 capabilities?
the panasonic one seems louder, but clarion has deeper bass. considering you're just 2 feet from the speakers when you're inside the car, i'd pick clarion.
but i had other choices if i were you --

Clarion DB625MP. plays mp3s on CD-Rs or CD-RWs, CD frequency response 10-20,000 Hz, signal-to-noise ratio 100 dB, 18 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels. US$289.
or something that takes both CD and MD, like Clarion's DMX5555Z?
https://www.onlinecarstereo.com/car...t.asp?sku=10942
180 Watt (45 W x 4), TV tuner control, infrared remote control, MD title display, 8x oversampling digital filter. dropped from $960 to $349, prolly because no one except me uses MD?
ALPINEEEEEEEE
whats the diff between the mp3 player and just playing regular CDRs? I can burn mp3s onto a cd and it plays them? Anyways yea i think im leaning more towards the panasonic, because its preety cheap free shipping but not sure yet
the difference is that an MP3-CDRW player actually takes data CDs with mp3 files inside. a CDRW player plays CDRWs only if it's in audio CD format, i.e. you can only record 80 minutes of music.
Alpine or Pioneer
maybe find a website that for customising cars etc (Max Power etc) asnd then see what tips they have on stereos dOOd
