Oh KICKASS upgraded *RED* version of the Sony MDR-V6's!!
Check this thread out!

*drools profusely*
I did a search for this special model online....

Anyone have any friends in Japan that can hook us up? Those things KICK ASS...
didn't they say that the red edition is more expensive than the black one?
whhhhhaaaaaaaaaat. time to get some new headphones!
tell me where I can get them cheap, hook a brutha up! the red ones are sleek.
Well, even in it's more mundane, black form, this special upgraded version of the V6, the CD900ST, is only available in Japan... and the red one, called the CD900ST-LP, is an even MORE special, limited edition, ALSO only available in Japan...
So, um, if anyone could pull *any* favors or ask any import place to get some of those Loopa CD900ST's in the U.S., now would be the time to do so..
I'll stick with my 'regular' V6.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH. MY. GOD.
These are absolutely AMAZING!!!! (looks-wise lol)
Just for those who are too lazy to click the links, CHECK OUT THOSE BABIES!
*****DROOL***************!!!
Gluegun I read that thread at head-fi, some people apparently don't like the colour - I think that's pure BS, these are damn good looking cans.
I know I'm just repeating others here - but is there ANY way to get these red babies from Japan??? ANY way at ALL?
lol I think I'll still get the HD280's simply on account of the isolation, but if there's a feasible way to get these ones instead I DEFINITELY WILL!!

i think i should get me a pair of HD280's, my v-6's are busted, i guess they can only take so much abuse (by abuse i mean too much volume for them to handle) and they just splat out beats when theres too much bass now
am i the only one that doesnt like them?
Well, while I think they look REALLY NEAT, you won't catch me wearing them in public -- they just have more of that DJ Drool factor than I'm into.... that doesnt mean I wont try and hook y'all up, tho.

Friend, that shape is one that *works*.... that shape is *the* MDR-V6/MDR-7506 shape, lol..
dude just do a little dissasembly on your headphones, and hit them with some high-gloss spray paint, and you can make it whatever color you want
im thinking about doin it, that would be sooo sweet to have competetion orange headphones lol

Hey guys how can someone in my country(Greece) get these or even the simple ones?
please adviisee
The MDR-V6 and MDR-7506, the basic versions of this headphone, should be fairly easy to obtain. However, being in Europe, you should look at Sennheiser headphones, due to markup reasons...
Hey Gluegun.. What's the difference between the MDR CD900ST and the MDR 7506 cos I'm thinkin of replacin my HD 25 and thinkin of getting either one of those. I've tried the MDR 7506 and I do like it but I find the highs not as clear as the hd 25
The CD900ST, being made for SACD mixing, supposedly has better-matched drivers and more detail and extension in the highs...
is it worth over 2wice the price? (audiocubes.com)
