Official Electric Zoo Afterparty @ Pacha with Ferry Corsten 09.06.09
What an unbelievable afterparty. Does anybody know who came on after Jason Jollins? This guy was unreal. Unreal. I don't even like house...and he blew me away. Anyway, I was there for Ferry and it was probably the best set I've ever seen him offer.
Song of the night:
Solarstone vs. Alucard - Late Summer Fields (Ferry Fix)
Does anyone have the set list for this night?

did david guetta go ?
i was there
jollins was dropping some crazy tunes his last half hour
josh gabriel came on next, and i rememeber him when he was part of gabriel and dresden, they would keep it on like a more proggy side
but i dunno last night he was dropping some serious bombs!!!!!!
wow i was loveing it
ferry came on next...played a few of his new tracks from his album
a new mix of binary finary and some pretty good trance stuff
i only stayed for a hour of his set, my legs couldnt take it much longer iam in so much pain today ahhhh
was not as packed as you would think, perfect size crowd actually
i had fun
Yup, that was Josh Gabriel. He really did have a good set. great flow. it was nice and techy.
It was Jason Jollins, then Josh Gabriel in the main room before Ferry came on.
I have to say the afterparty was AWESOME (despite my lil group and I being DEAD tired!!) my only thing was going from a super-high energy EZ to a little more chill energy from Jason and Josh. Both sets were hard and bangin beats, but a little slower in tempo.
but....OMG Ferry.
He came on for 45 mins and played typical Ferry (his own productions, trance, etc...) BUT the last hour and a half (+++) was STRAIGHT TECH!!!
I have never, ever heard him play so hard, it was ri-god-damn-DICULOUS!!! (sorry andrew, all this happened after you left
) he tore the club apart like no other......one would not believe it was even ferry up there
SO HARD and so much energy!! It was like the tired-EZ'ers just came alive again with a renewed energy....the place was going OFF!! My friend from Canada said he liked the Pacha set way better than the EZ set. (which could be true, but that would be like comparing apples with oranges.....EZ ferry played all ferry-trance-tracks, and Pacha he played Soooo HARD and techy!! so I supppose it would be a matter of which "ferry" you prefer....but he definitely showed his two sides yesterday WOOWOWOWOWOWO!!!!!!) He dropped Binary Finary in the beginning, too which is always awesome
anyways ssooooo glad I suffered through the beginning of the night with tons o redbulls, because seeing this side of Ferry, was soo worth the wait!!!!

wish I coulda recorded it for you it was nutso and the hardest ferry set of my life (and I have seen a wholeeee lotta ferry!)
lol yea see the funny thing was
i was not like mentally tired at all
i was more physically, like my feet and legs are sooo shot
it kills me to walk up and down steps now ahhhh
but i know ferry deff delivered and iam kinda pissed that i missed him drop stuff other then his own and i wanted to see him bang it out like he always does, but whatever he will be back again sometime in the future and i know he will deliver
glad you trooped it out and enjoyed yourself
wow what a night...jason was banging it out then Josh Gabriel i couldnt believe what i was hearing. He tore that shit up. THen the man of the night Ferry comes on and absolutely destroys that place..one bomb after another. Great night. Perfect amount of people there not to packed but packed and for once seemed like the aircondition was working great. Pacha for once was actually alot of fun normally hate that place but last night was very good. Didnt see anyone last night but the people from made that i knew. Other than that it was just me and two friends gettin crazy all night.
I don't think Adam Beyer was there. False advertising ?
Anybody has the tracklist to Josh's set? He played this one beautiful vocal tune...I could only make out a few words...
"They say, they saw we should never admit to anything?
Something, something...situation?"
ughh I want it!

As if Electric Zoo wasn't amazing enough, this after-party by Made Event was just as great. That was honestly one of the most fun times I have had spinning in a long time. So much fun and it was a pleasure to see so many of you there
As for Josh Gabriel, I was literally blown away by his set. He was simply amazing, so much so that I am thinking of making my own thread based solely on him.
And Ferry, what can I say, I don't think I have ever heard a bad set from him. Always perfect mixing, excellent stage presence and a great track selection.
I also want to note that we are all extremely lucky to have Pacha. To be able to hear the international artists that we do week in and week out thanks to Pacha and to hear them on such a stellar sound system is a real treat. As an artist who plays there regularly and as someone who knows the staff on a personal level, I can tell you that they work extremely hard non-stop every day to bring us the level of quality that we get with each and every event hosted at the venue. I truly love this club.
All in all it was a perfect after-party and I am very happy to have been a part of it. The music progression throughout the night from dj to dj flowed perfectly as well, a constant build in energy

what can you ask more ?? ; sun, EXCELLENT SOUND, EXCELLENT music, great partiers (most of you)
(ok, ok less than 9$ for a beer would be good, -->
)
I really loved the way things started nice progression. Jason, great set, I'm glad I didn't miss any of it
(I told you that after your set, but here is the 'official congratz' ) i'm definitly going to see you again in the future.
I also really enjoyed Jerome's set even if I felt like he 'had' to play all his big songs. hopefully, longer set next time.
Menno de jong excellent as usual, really playing good trancy stuff as I was expecting from a trance dj in a perfect afternoon.
Ferry = super but It was a little bit overpacked and I couldn't really jump everywhere.. which brings me to the second part of the evening.. Pacha
You guys are lucky to have a place like Pacha. Big DJs, low cost, I thought it was a scam at first. the same big DJs in a smaller room with a bigger vibe for what ??? the price of 3 beers at the electric zoo ??? AHAHAHAHA. So we went for it and it was incredible. Nice second set from you Jason (feel free to send me the tracklist btw
) Gabriel, excellent too, I think the crowd was more receptive than during the afternoon (i was).
Nice to see some of the zooer's there. true that Ferry's set was harder, but not that much ! he still played some good trancy stuff before finnaly closing the party with the excellent classy synaesthesia
Nice place, that New york city
--> and special thanks to the security guys for letting me in with my 'award winning muddy pants'
lol, sorry I included my review of the EZ in my previous post ... ahaha
(but we all know where the REAL party was
)
