Unfortunately Synth1 is based on the nord lead.

Crystal is a very good synth also. It takes a bit to figure out how it works, but none the less, awesome. I should use it more.

Synth1 is pretty decent, its considered the best freeware synth by a lot lot lot of people.

Superwave P8 is also another nice freebee.

You can google those.

synth1 is more like a nord lead 1 than virus imo. great synth. dosnt work on mac though ;(
