I don't believe it's the same address as crobar/mansion/m2 ultralounge. That place is on 530 W 28th St, this place seems to be around the corner.

It's set to open in 5 weeks. I wonder if it's the same brand as Ibiza?

I agree. They just want to cash in on the name. If this was related to Amnesia in any way there would have been some press releases out to the public already.

hopefully it doesnt go the way of M2, we all know how that worked out. Nothings worked out so far. But then again New York has NO real venue right now...so maybe this is what we need

and yea we wish for no JP or Boris etc. but they bring in ppl and $$$$. i wouldnt be surprised to see them play there eventually

god lets hope they stay aways from there well you kinda know there music is going down hill some what when there playing at long island clubs like origin and glo.. yeah lets hope this is what us nyc edm heads need is a new space with yes a working a/c no offence love ill always love that club but we need a working a/c at full blast lol..

+1.... The fact that no promoters we know are affiliated with this already tells us something... There's a million EDM venues in the city we don't know about, but they bring Joey Skillz, Danny Mixalot, and Johnny Big Boi from Brooklyn with their promoters week-in and week-out, etc... I'm expecting the same...

Yeah I'm praying they don't go the M2 route. The person I heard all this from knows his shit, so if it was gonna be a D-bag place I doubt he would even mention it. But it sounds like it's totally gonna be an EDM scene, I'll try to get more info.

I seriously don't know any other EDM venues in the city other than Pacha, Cielo, Love, Sullivan Room, Rebel, Bar 13 maybe?

Not sure about being smart, can't they get sued for using a name that is recognised globally and that they have no affiliation with?
