TA sound designers?

Seems we have a lot of people on here who really understand the complexities of synths and designing sounds for them. I think it would be way neat if some of you would create some patches or banks (soft synths would probably be the best thing since most on here don't have tons of hardware) and we can pin a thread at the top where you can contribute. Could be a good way to get a name for yourself going. Maybe use some of the more popular vsts, Albino, Blue, Imposcar, Discovery Pro, V-Station, etc.

whos gonna sticky it? allied?

i can bust some patches for Reason 3,4.

We could choose one popular synth (through a poll perhaps) and create a TA bank for it, where each person just contributes sounds in different categories until we have 128 patches. Just a thought.

Then we sell it and live off the profits.

I have really been digging into impOSCar lately and was planning to post up some patches for it soon anyway, including some emulations of famous sounds like the "Piledriver" one I made in that thread recently.

Charge $1337 USD to make 'uberleet' trance tracks.

In all seriousness, could be a cool idea to divi-it up like that...could be more realistic and do two or four patches per person, or make a 32 or 64 patch bank.

i'd be down to do a 1 bank per synth kind of deal. those who contribute get the bank for free and the rest can get it for $1 or something

If it's done with any of the synths I own I'm in.

i can make a awsome supersaw on the THOR

i vote for the patch bank to be on multiple synths because i dont have any of the ones listed

i forgot to add :

we should also suggest some of the patches we would like to here

.. like a suggestions patch bank!

Why not loosen it up, make a thread, and people can post patches to any synth, if someone else uses that synth, hey they got new sounds to fiddle with.

Its alot better than trying to get people to agree with one synth, this isn't a contest after all.

I am about a third of the way through filling up an impOSCar bank (32 patches I think). Maybe I can post it when it's full?

Posted by Waza on Sep-14-2009 10:50:

Yeah i'll be up for creating some patches.

maybe what we should do is create 2 patches of each sound and that's all.

so 2 for bass 2 for lead and so on. that way we will get alot of different sounds and not just say all basses.

It would be great for some precise tips on more advanced elements of synthesis on the patches provided as I am really trying to advance my knowledge in this area as I'm sure other ppl are.

I want to move on from simple osc and ADSR tweaking and be confident in how LFO and Env'ing the mod options will affect the sound.
