Bobina - Time & Time (Nightshift's Xplosive Club Dub) [320kbps @ soundcloud]

A DJ has asked me to do a dub version of my previous Time & Tide remix because he wants to play it at a rave in a couple weeks, so i re-worked and re-produced it.

5 months of time lies between the original remix and the dub. You may compare if you like, both versions are on my soundcloud.

Feedback is appreaciated

This is really good track, you should be happy for.
Sound near professional. Deep bass, drums structure very well and overall has some good tension.

Ready to go for me.
Good work, keep them rolling.

lol i did a remix to this track too a couple months ago...never finished it tho lol! Nice work here, sounds really well. Chopped vocals at times could bump up the progression

Agreed, chopped up vocals work great for a dub to add some interest - vocals but not!

I found this track impressive ages ago and losing the vocals doesn't hurt the track at all, they're a bit unnecessary. I tried to switch off a bit while listening and not much stood out as un-professional sounding, although I did sense that the main riff sequence went on a bit too long, perhaps bringing it down to a mini-breakdown and then back in again would keep it fresher. The lead synth is cool, not quite my cup of tea as I'd put a little more echo and widening on it but I can see how it would work in a club as its very prominent and upfront! Congrats in advance on getting it played at an event, who cares if it's unsigned, reaching people is what it's all about!

Thank you for all of your replies!

I decided to send it to the DJ before making any edits and apparently this is exactley how he wants it (/nohomo).

Although I do agree with your posts, i was doing this for him and he was extremely pleased with it so I am deciding to call it final. (also he originally asked for no vocals at all, apparently he has an extreme dislike for vocal trance lol.)

I appreciate the feedback and anymore feedback is welcome

p.s. I will try and get a vid of him playing it at the rave.

nicely produced. Dont really feel the synth of the mainriff tho. Feels a bit dull. I also feel that you can add some more elements, maybe like a submelody under the mainriff just to give it a bigger spectrum, if you know what i mean. One last thing; the hihat that comes in from 5:12 sounds a bit out of place for some reason. Other then that, solid tune
