half of them been dj'in since the early 90's, we just kept underground....several of them do plush weeklies in austin?!?!

you havent heard of brett johnson, hes 1 of the headliners, hes been on tons of labels & played around the world, youve been around awhile huh? not to long then...he's just one name...

Eh, been in the scene close to 15 years, but I admit I don't know every underground DJ from all the cities I haven't lived in :P

I really didn't intend to step on any toes, I was just unfamiliar with the line-up. Beyond the locals in southern california when I was stationed there, most of the local DJs big and small that I'm familiar with are from the Houston area, where I currently live, along with the ones that post on this forum. I've only been to S.A and Austin for the bigger events and the shows I've gotten to play at. As far as weeklies, heh, I barely get the chance to attend the weeklies in Houston do to my job, and don't have the gas money to travel.

Thanks for posting the links, it sounds like it will be an event worth checking out. Since it's a weekend I don't have school on I'll see if I can make it out.

some useless facts...
brett johnson has been producing for a while. sasha, lee burridge, mark farina, pezzner, have been playin his shit for years,just to name a few... he lives up here in dallas.. really good dj/producer and a nice guy. i always look forward to his monthly parties. he just got back from touring over seas for the summer.

didnt brett just play at fabric in london and watergate in berlin? he's a badass fo sho.

i just went to a party at this venue this past weekend and it was amazing. beautiful area by the river. you guys in san antonio and austin should hit this one up.

if i wasnt going to the dominican republic, i'd be there.
