Jehovah's Witnesses

I just had a couple of JWs visiting me, and got to wonder: why do they always come *two* at a time? Is it something that is stated in their religion, or simply a cynical manipulation technique? Also, of the 7 or 8 times I have had the pleasure of having fruitless arguments with JWs it have always been women. Are men not allowed/required to do missionary work?
I hope somebody with some understanding of the cult can help me out here.

i think they go round the doors in twos so that ppl like me dont batter them.

dont get me wrong i have nothing against the religion.. i respect the religion. its just the divs who feel the need to push it on me i hate.

i once saw them coming at the end of the road.. and quickly knocked sumthin up on paint.. they knocked on the door, gave me this leaflet and said it would give me a better life... so i handed them MY leaflet, advertising satanism..

its funny. JWs believe that only a certain number of them will be allowed into heaven. it seems like the more they recruit the more it would lessen their chances of getting in

JWs are just one of the numerous silly pseudo-christian cults that roam around locally...I know my Mum got rid of them from our doorstep permanently by telling them to piss off because we're pagans

More entertainingly my friend Justin took serious advantage of them a couple of years ago...

So there he was, outside having to do yardwork for his Mum and the JWs approach in their nice little outfits and start telling him about their religion. That's all fine and good he replied, but I'm kind of busy with this yard work right now...if you help me out we can cool off with a glass of iced tea afterward and talk though...

So the JWs foolishly take the bait

And Justin proceeds to have them do almost all of the work for the better part of an hour...when the work is done they look at him expectantly, naturally anticipating a nice icy beverage inside the house...instead Justin told them to bugger off and slammed the door on them

my mates used to dare me to knock on peoples doors and pretend to be a jehovahs witness for money I never worked of course it just pissed ppl off for wasting their time But that was back when I was just stupid, not that Iam sensible now

Yeah we have these people here too, but if you take the leaflet or show the slightesst interest they note down your house number and come back each time.

Theres also another group called mormons or something, they do the same kind of thing. I respect other peoples religion, but i totally lose that respect when someone tries to shove their religion in my face.

BTW.. IMO religion is just a bunch a bullshit, you and i know that the world would be better without

-old milk them
-get my mum to tell them to piss off

-go out the back and not come back for a long time
-go out the back and get a load of meh m8s and throw shit @ them
-shoot them with bb gun
-soak them with waterpistol filled with paint/piss/petrol/vinegar/or any dangerous-to-eyes liquid
-go outside and beat them to the ground with stick
-call the pigs and and nick em for dissin the peace

i use to study with them too... and it really pisses me off how all of you dont know anything of their religion yet are still being stupid pricks ... what the fuck ever happened to the respect around here ???? all they do is study and explain everything directly from the bible... whats so damn wrong about being caring enough to try and influence others in positive ways ???? and by the way... its not a "cult" .. i studied with them for about a year... and got to know Mikes ( instructor ) family really well... he still writes me letters since they moved away.. their the most caring , warm hearted people i have ever met and have helped me in so many ways dealing wth life. .. but since they moved about 2 yrs ago i stopped studying.. and my words count because i speak from EXPERIENCE... something all of you obviously know nothing of. .. ignorant bastards heh and its really funny cos you say "oh when they come to my door im gonna do this this and this" but half you ball-less assholes wont have the guts to do shit.

We (well I think I speak for most ppl here) just don't like them pushing their religion on us. When I'm chillin' at my house, leave me the $$#%# alone! If I were interested in their way of life, I would pay them a visit and talk to THEM. not the other way around. You don't see me going to their homes convincing them to become atheists do you?

you are so full of shit my man. These people are not nice, they are viscious! one time i said "sorry sir i am jewish" and he yelled at me, handcuffed me, had his way with me while reading the bible. I still have nightmares
