Influences of Askew and PvD (192k Sample) - Feedback?

Evening all

I've been working on peices of this track over the past few weeks intending to make it into something influenced by Askew and PvD. I've added a few effects and some vocal chords which I think suit the plucky grind of the main lead melodies.

The full track kicks in at bar 32 with the main bassline but hopefully the sample should give you a good idea of whats going on. It's currently sitting at 140 BPM, it's 8 and a half minutes long in total and after much deliberation, I've created a kick which doesn't ruin the mix and a clap which goes well with it.

Still need to soften up the pads, rearrange the snare rolls and empahsise the big drop at about 3m28s. I'm gonna turn away from it for a while to get some perspective, so any thoughts in the meantime will be much appreciated!
