How do you usually get to know about parties?

Other than tranceaddict, what's your personal best source of event/party information?

I think the answer is pretty clear - Facebook and email. That is how everyone finds out about parties these days then word of mouth if a friend mentions it. Most people are attached to their computers these days that go clubbing. Some people are getting buried with their laptops and cell phones at the funeral parlors. Did you hear about that???

You probably find out about parties right here on this board faster than you do on Facebook, Myspace, etc etc....because a bunch of us are always scouring sites on our own and post it right here when we find out.

At least for NorCal, maybe SoCal not really having a calender (which amazes me, but shows how diff the SF scene is right there) makes this not that place for SoCal parties.

I personally scour all the agency, DJ websites/myspace/facebook, promoter, ticketing, flyer designer websites, etc on a regular basis still. I don't do the calender still, but it really never stopped me from constantly trying to find dates on the net.

I usually find out by looking on here or snowboard.

I usually delete all blast emails... or if I get a blast email, I had already known about the event from coming on here. I also don't like getting 10 event invitations a day on facebook.
