where to go on honeymoon
so i got married on saturday, and for our wedding gifts,we asked for money as we have everything we need and just wanted to have a good honeymoon to remember.
But, we are in a bit of a quandry on where to go. my initial idea was to go to the caribean, but it is the monsoon season in most places, apart from the dominican republic, but i read that the weather isnt incredible in october there either.
where would you recommend i go?.. im after somewhere tropical[ish] and hot and NOT in spain.

woh! hawaii looks amazing.. i think it might be expensive from england tho..ill look into it 
thailand, maldives, tahiti, fiji
and you guys can get an overwater bungalow and fuck like animals
hawaii is amazing as well, of course. make sure to take some sight seeing tours, especially go to the luau, you can book those on probably any major travel site, amazing food, awesome atmosphere (you get to eat a huge pig roast). just don't go overboard on the tours, spend some time walking around the city, lots of cool places

Cancun is nice too. AFAIK, not many places have sand as white as Cancun, it's really pretty. My mom used to live there for a while and she absolutely loved it. Also since so many white people from the US go there on vacation, it's easier to find people who speak english.

Hawaii hands down (unless you can afford Tahiti....) If you like to hike and want to be just you and your wife then Kauai is where you need to go. Hike the Na Pali coast find a beach thats just you and your wife and have a great honeymoon.
Other than that Maui is begging for you. I lived on Oahu for 4 years and Waikiki isnt worth your honeymoon. Go to maui if you want to just relax, see beautiful scenery and beaches and relax. If you want beauty and want to take a unforgettable hike to a beach that is just you and her then Kauai.

I think we need to know jays budget first. From here, hawaii is a long long way away, fiji too. There's always like the maldives which are popular (not sure on the time of year that's wet there) and anything africa/europe to asia, maybe even dubai is a good option imo. Anywhere past the west coast of america is 12+ hours flight and won't be cheap.

I scanned through the thread and saw that you don't want to travel too far because it'd be expensive flight costs but if you did want to travel far then the Whitsunday Islands here in Oz.
You can check out Whitehaven beach (really white sandy beach) as part of the Whitsunday Islands..
The Great Barrier Reef can also been seen from these islands. All in all pretty good place
You're from the UK so the exchange rate for you down here would make it a fairly cheap holiday apart from the cost of the flight lol.

a ta from here went to study abroad in cyprus, he said it was very, very pretty and enjoyable
