incase some of you were wondering...

Hey guys, I've been absent from the scene for a while and I wanted to give those who care an update on what's going on in my life. I'm going to be real here.

Right now I'm in ATL airport in the bathroom with a dip in my mouth listening closely to the 001 and 002 episodes of my bi weekly podcast. very solid stuff. I'm reading 'once a runner' and trying to retain as much crap as possible while I kill time to catch my rescheduled flight.

As of late, I've been training for an ultra marathon. A 50 miler foot race in washington dc. Since I've joined the navy I've put my body through shock and such with rediculous amounts of running and lifting so I can increase my chances of being a navy seal. In the process I'm going to try to attain my degree in language and literature in multiple languages because another pursuit I have is translating/interpreting. When I finish my degree and how my physical conditioning is @ that time then ill decide whether I'm going to jump in and go to bud/s (basic underwater demolition/seals). These things have consumed my life and my transition back into the civilian sector has been a bit rough. All these things I've been doing are the reason why my HOUSTON DANCE MUSIC (HDM) Podcast has been delayed some. I've got some bookings headed my way and I'm also going to get back into the scene more once I finish this 50. Another thing I've been working on is a track I'm making called 'sambazon.' Which should be finished sometime soon (I'm no good at deadlines).

So yea... current confirmed episodes with guests are

001 dj aaron coronado
002 dj don fili
003 dj matthias
004 dj brian paul (awaiting confirmation)
005 dj Matthew Schwab
006 dj jonas
007 lucidity institute.

The open slots are open to anyone who wants to play on hdm so I wanted to leave it open to any of my fellow TA's

So yea... once I finish this my grounds should be more stable and I shall have more time to work on djing and such. In the mean time if any of you guys are looking for a slot hit me up on my personal email:

[email protected]

Au revoir, bishes.

You gonna try and get that one signed to a label? That'd be awesome.

Coming from someone who was a reconnaissance marine, the physical is maybe 10% of what you'll need to survive hell week and the other evolution of bud/s. Being awake for 23 hours and sleeping for 1 over a 5 day period can cause the strongest of minds to crack...if one lets them. ALong with running and lifting, I would also do ALOT of pool work. Treading water in the deep end for 30mins to an hour. Swimming the length of a pool back n forth 5 times, using only breast or side-stroke. Holding your breath underwater for as long as you can stand it while keeping calm. Stuff like that.

Best of luck, just don't go through bud/s in the winter time.

I may have to file suit on trademark infringements if you guys continue to use the name Kitchen Sessions.

senor jonas,

your belligerent behavior still follows you long after your intoxicated state some years ago. you sold your kitchen sessions trademark in exchange for a handle of jack. you were already consuming this beverage before i could finish my sentence. you downed this beverage and gave me your approval. i may have gotten skinny from all the running but believe me, senor jonas, i keep the pimp hand strong.

There's no proof of payment for said trademark.

Good luck with all of that Lizandro. If they would take me I'd be there in a heartbeat. Maybe after I finish my degree they will reconsider.

Posted by Benjamin DuBose on Sep-28-2009 21:15:

I'd go to if they would accept me. But they won't so i can't.
