Solid first episode. Maybe not a classic but I am sure we'll have more classics to come. Charlie's whole Laywer talk was hilarious - Bird Laws

Anyone happy this show is back?!? I ammmmmmmmmmmmm !!!

i honestly wish this show was dead

this show is one of the funniest out there! how could you say that?!?

my humor is really weird

i question how people can enjoy shows like seinfeld, which i find to be the dumbest show to have ever existed. the only thing i like about IASIP is danny devito, only because i miss the guy in films

i love you too but the shit the gang always goes through is hilarious.

danny devito is just an older version of them.

My favorite will always be when Dennis and Dee go on welfare.

This show is not funny. Literally sat through the (I think it was the) season premier with a clownfrown and the occasional pity chuckle because I was watching it with my friends who have a similar opinion to MellyMel's.

wtf u guys are so bitter. it's just a tv show - if you don't like it, okay. It doesn't have to ruin your whole life.

i think the first episode was a good start - it wasn't fantastic but the show is hilarious and for those few epic moments like dee & dennis getting addicted to crack, or when they made fun of invincible and danny devito goes tailgating and takes LSD + more makes funny! there's no other show out there like this

This show is amazing, one of the funniest on the air right now. I'm so glad they renewed it for another season.

Best episode from last season was when Charlie & Mac tried to fake their deaths and ended up living on top of the bar

A classic, imo, is when the McPoyles held them hostage with fake guns. That shit was comedy. And the best episode, by far, is when the gang try out for the Philadelphia Eagles (The Gang Gets Invincible). And OF COURSE the episode when Charlie comes up with the Dayman song. My god

I'm not bitter. Actually, I'm rather happy at the moment. I just don't like the show. I like King of the Hill, so that must be the problem.

I like when they make Rickety Cricket sell the coke for them and he does most of it and ends up selling the rest for these giant steel drums to start a band

SO GOOD!

The whole beginning of the Charlie Has Cancer episode Dennis stops over to get the basketball and Charlie tells him he has cancer and Dennis still just wants to borrow the ball. F'ing classic! I love this show. I was thinking it myself, and then they outright said it in the bonus features, it's like Seinfeld on crack. All the characters are so self-absorbed that you can't care about them at all so watching them destroy their lives is a pleasure.
Probably my all time favorite ep is when Dennis is writing his biography called "An Erotic Life" and he goes to rehab where he meets Sinbad and Rob Thomas. SuperF'ingLol!!!

Rickety Cricket is such a great cast member and so are the McPoyles - unibrowed and all.

I hope they come back this season.

Yeah that was when he first wore the Greenman, it was after Frank spiked his beer with LSD. I tried to get one for Halloween last year but it didn't get delivered in time

I forgot about that one! Everyone thought he was seeing things.

I love Sweet Dee & Dennis.. they have an awesome brother/sister relationship. I love when they get fuked up on E.

Green Man (The Gang Gets Invincible) was a highlight, but I hope they don't use him again 'cause it would just cheapen it. They already did once again, but I hope that's it.

FYI, one more thing that makes this show so twisted is that Fred Savage has directed a good deal of them (including the Green Man ep). Not sure if he's at the helm this season tho.

Show is seriously classic. Idk how people could not find the show halarious. As mel said the shit they go through is halarious.

The last season finale turned into a musical. The night man cometh. My friend bought tickets, haven't asked him yet how it was. But was whole cast.

As for the new season premiere. Not bad. Good start. Def some funny parts. Needed alittle more charlie though in my opinion. Dee just isn't that funny for me without the rest of the gang ripping on her.


also if you watch the dvd commentaries, a good amount of the shit charlie sings is ad lib.

Absolutely love the show, and I'll concur with everyone else in this thread that The Gang Gets Invincible is perhaps the best episode. I liked the season opener; it started out well, peaked when Charlie did his whole speech with the lawyer in the house, but kind of fell off at the very end at the pool. The concept for next weeks episode seems to promise a good amount of hilarity.

anyone else agree that nightman > dayman
