The Steinberg key that came with your copy of Cubase when you bought it. Check your USB slots on your computer!

seriously? that is so lame.

What happened here is when you installed Nexus 2, it replaced the hacked Syncrosoft emulator software from H20 that runs SX3 so now when you go to run Cubase 3, the emulator for the dongle is gone having been replaced by the real thing from Nexus 2. Its asking for your Cubase SX3 license key which does not exist. I don't think there is a way around this since both SX3 and Nexus 2 use the same Syncrosoft dongle technology.

can't you just buy a syncrosoft dongle for 5$ to go with your license?

It sounds like it would solve this particular problem. If you have the dongles for both (or both licenses on the one syncrosoft key/dongle, as Magnus said), then they should work without problems. I have Cubase 4 and it has been rock solid with the syncrosoft key.

I don't know if you can get a key for a cracked version of Cubase. The crack is designed so you don't need a key. It seems the issue is that Nexus uses the same key (syncrosoft) and that this is now interfering with your cracked version of Cubase.

Either go legal (which I'd recommend) or get a cracked version of Nexus - that way neither Cubase nor Nexus will need a dongle.

First time though that I read someone having more trouble running cracked software than running official licenses.

I could easily laugh and say "well done" but I won't.

Here's my tip though. If you want to buy plug-ins, don't run them in a cracked host.

ATTENTION!!!!

i had this same problem with my cracked cubase and the mini moog demo i downloaded

but some how i got to work..

u have to go to that license thing...before u open up cubase...and put in the license key...u dont need no fucking dongle
