Sleep

what does everyone need/do in order to sleep?

i definitely like it cold so i can bundle up and we recently put a fan in our bedroom and i can't even begin to tell you how deep i sleep with the constant humming noise of the fan. i've been waking up with sleep marks on me for the last week.

cold, fan, and often a sleep aid or i'll wake every couple of hours. i can't sleep in a completely quiet place, either.

no cat in the room, ac, & if there is no ac on i need something that ticks or humms. everyone says i have a really annoying clock that ticks but that actually makes me fall asleep.

unfortunately, a last night i had insomnia then my cat woke me at the crack of dawn, great way to start the week.

I have tried everything short of banging my head against the wall to go sleep...actually wait, i even tried that once after a few consecutive nights of being unable to sleep, didnt really work that well...

Though after having jennys dirty poem playing on repeat all night (well the two hours of it that i actually slept) in the background i woke up this morning feeling not really that well, but quite a bit better than usual...strange

Cold + fan. Sucks because my gf likes it warm.

If you have a computer in your bedroom, this stream works like a charm..I can't live without it.

Alcohol, usually.

I like it cool but not too cold where I shiver or anything. also as dark and as quiet is possible.

I don't really have any preferences, I adapt pretty quick. I just need a bed that's not too short for my 197cm. It gets annoying fast with a short bed.

The new house I just moved into has had the entire attic converted into a nice loft/bedroom thing. Since it was added on, the central air does not go in there, so they installed a window unit in the wall (right above the bed).

I haven't slept so well in years, having that cool air blow right over me and hearing that hum all night. ZZZZZzzzz...

lol

we recently had to crash at a friend's house because our AC was broken and even though his couch was comfy and he had his AC blasting and there was noise from it, i kept waking up every few hours confused and then thought, "oh yea i'm at frank's" lol i don't do well sleeping in a new environment like that i guess. i like my own bed.

Yes, your bed is comfy.

You've slept in it?

I don't sleep; I watch.

Nothing like sleeping to a bit of a storm.

I have no issues falling asleep....there are times where i've fallen asleep in mid sentence...my GF gets pissed when I do that.

Cold weather + fan. There's nothing more soothing than someone with hard nipples cheering you on

Does anyone else sleep with their curtains open?

I need a big bed; around 75ish or colder; sheet + blanket + Pillows + 10-15 minutes if I am not laying on my back. If I lay on my back I just start seeing weird colors and random pictures in my mind and never fall asleep; I just lay there fully awake, but in a dream state.

As much silence as possible, and darkness. Everything else is a distraction to me. Booze definitely helps.

I can pretty much fall asleep anywhere under any conditions. No preferences at all to get to sleep.
