NEW... Xone:DX ***UPDATED***
It looks like A&H are coming out with a new Midi Controller... THE XONE
X.
They have the tab on their site, but it's not working yet.

It's supposed to be another controller for Serato Itch.

probably an arm and a leg or a firstborn like the 4d.

Looks awesome, about damn time someone made a pure 4 deck controller.
sounds like it's going to be an over-hyped product. i bet someone could take the money they'd spend on that "Allen & Heath" and instead, buy multiple different midi controllers and have x times as much productivity and function
Cat's out of the hat. I WAS CORRECT. It's a Serato ITCH Controller.

I'm surprised to see that it is a 4 deck controller considering that Serato has been 2 deck-only for so long. Maybe Scratch Live 2.0 will bring 2 more decks with it.
It's no secret that Serato is working on 3 & 4 decks for the near future. LIVE 2 just got announced.

So what's the difference between this and a Xone 92 vs something like a Xone 4D? I ask because I have a Xone 92 and am considering selling it to get a Xone 4D (since I use Traktor Pro). Also what's the difference between the XD and say two 1Ds?
the midi pods on the 4d (the same as the 1d) have more controls, but you have to map them yourself. This thing is pretty mucxh pre-defined for you. I don't doubt you could change the mapping if you wanted, but there's a button marked play you probably want to leave it as play.
I think of this a like the 4d for people who really don't want to think about their own maps, and can live with the more limited scope of the controls.
funny that it has phono inputs, and has a 20 channel soundcard, yet it's not TSP certified. if you can't run your decks into the software, do you really need all those in's and out's? Sure i could use non-hardware specific DVS software (djdecks for example) but surely that's not going to be attractive to too many people.

OMG WHATS THE GIANT RED BUTTON IN THE MIDDLE?

Price?
looks awesome!!!!

really want to know, how much that one costs?!?!?
From what I read on another forum, it will cost around $2000 Canadian Dollars, that's about $1,834 US Dollars. You gotta keep in mind that it's also a mixer, not just a midi controller and it works with Traktor too.
1.8k$?
