Mario Basanov & Vidis feat. Jazzu - I'll Be Gone (awesome vid)

Does anyone have info on this release? I see it appears on this release, but I've been unable to find anything else about it.

I love the video, and the track is quite alright as well. I just wish they would keep the drums the way they hit at like 02:33 for the rest of the song. The one they introduce just after sounds a little weak to me. There is a "redo" of the track on youtube as well, lasts like 6mins+, but it has a woman talking at the start of it.

why dont you just lay some sampled drums over the rest of it then? this composition is very simple with a lot of space to layer stuff on it.

implying I have any idea how to lay anything over anything

pretty sure all those drums are sampled. search for and download something like vengeance minimal house sample pack, pick one of the drums that sounds like the one at 2:33, and make a simple beat track. then, while you play your mario basonov song, play your simple beat track on the other turntable.

i wonder why more DJs dont do this already, since so many people have such a hard on for percussion these days. you could conceivably spice up all the tracks in your set if you have a 3rd deck always playing some percussion on top. ableton is great for this.

Ah yes, if I decide to play this out I guess a thanks for the tip is in order. It wasn't really the point of the thread, but a good idea none the less
