Cheap setup

I need a very cheap setup. Dirt cheap.
Basically just to practice beatmatching on. Nothing else.
I know this sounds weird but its for speical cirumstances.

I was thinking:
2 x CDJ-200s
1 x Numark DXM06

Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I'd go with the Denon DN-X120 instead of the numark. Only about 20 bucks more

i have the 100, it's a nice little mixer

barebones and to the point, everything you need and nothing you don't, decent sound out of it too

Cds Will cost you a lot over time

How much do CDs cost you?

In the UK we pay as little as 9 pence (about 15 cents) per CD.

The cost is minor even when compared to a budget setup.

If all you're doing is practicing beatmatching why not buy an all-in-one, learn beatmatching on that, and then return the thing?

Cdj 200's and a dxm06 isn't a bad beginning setup. Two things to keep in mind howwever. Firstly cdj200's do NOT have the ability to scratch/do turntablism, so u may grow out of them if u decide to do that. Also, the dxm only has two. Channels, so if u decide to add a third component, u won't be able to.other them that that setup is a good choice

what about those doubledecker ipod mixers?
looks cool and cant be very expensive, think numark has some shit like that, considering it myself.

Rasta cheap setup

2 used technics 1200 $200-$300 bucks on ebay .
Gemini PMX-01 $19.99

Cheap Stanton Needles.

and 4 or 5 used EDM vinyl records 124-130 bpm.
little radio shack adapter for your headphones.

That should be enough to get you learning how to beat match. IMO it's better to learn on 1200 turntables than on CDJ's.

Once you get the hang of it just save up to get Serato or Tracktor and you are all set.

If you want something really basic just for beat matching

I would go with a basic ion package its a good start

For the The standerd of equipment It all really depends on what kind of money you are willing to spend!
