Just when you thought it was safe to roam the streets of Los Angeles; Monster Massive takes claim of Hallow's Eve for North America's largest Halloween Dance Music Festival, transforming the Los Angeles Sports Arena and the Grounds of Exposition Park into a realm so wicked and perversely torturous for thousands upon thousands of travelers and dwellers of the night.
An all-out assault of madness and mayhem by some of the world's biggest talents setting the soundtrack to a ghoulish night unlike any other; the main Tomb of Doom arena is headlined by the #1 DJ in the world, Armin Van Buuren. Without mercy in sounds Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo and John O'Callaghan will sadistically keep the costumed masses dancing without rest till the break of dawn.
Entraping all the lost souls outside the tombs; the House of Horror as resurrected by Saturday Night Sessions is nothing short of turmoil-embossed hell House for savage beats by BBC Radio 1's Pete Tong and the King of electroclash Felix da Housecat on the deadly decks. TV Rock fleshes out from down under with James Zabiela adding venom and a LIVE installment of Crystal Castles performance. DJ Reza rounds out the clock within the most literal manifestation of this fiery dominion.
As mandated by the record-breaking attendance of over 65,000 last year, the techno infused Phantom Chamber will unleash Steve Lawler in a most haunting territory within the city of plastic dreams. Tribal callings and techno cries with German' outfit M.A.N.D.Y. dancing with the devil himself; Tiefschwarz seething into darker electronic realities with MURK (Ralph Falcon & Oscar G) sustaining the Phantom Chamber from breaking point.
Monster Massive will inflict the masses harder and more hellacious than any before. Say your prayers, get rested and join Go Ventures on Saturday, October 31st 2009 for the 12th annual Halloween mega event designed to take you to the depths and back... if you're lucky.

this is gonna be ridiculous!! anyone from oceanside or surrounding area going? im thinking VIP, pm me.
Gotta say...absolutely sick line-up this year. I usually avoid Sports Arena events other than for promotional reasons, but if I was in LA, this is one I'd actually go to.
I'm flying in from Kentucky to go... I can't wait.
Gina and I will be attending as well. Heading to Avalon afterwards. This will be our last party while living here in LA

That's actually a really fucking cool line up
It's too bad Murk is terrible now
I think I better get my ticket now
Amazing lineup
Got VIP for this. Have to have a place to escape the kiddies for any massive at the Sports Arena.

Armin & Steve Lawler would be awesome to see.. Probably will attend this. VIP does sound like the way to go.
I dont want to drop the cash for VIP but it looks like ill have to. 150k this year isnt going to be a good time. I dont like standing in a sardine can next to sweaty douchebags!
I got my VIP tix the day they got off the press! Totally ready!!!
Since I live in downtown, zero worries about driving etc. Another 30 days more to go
Im definitely going but Ive never been to Monster Massive before...
Hows the vibe compare to Nocturnal or EDC?

Certainly one of the best line-up in the West Coast, collectively, has ever seen, if I could say so.
avb's first massive in so.cal since TAO, you know he's going to make it very special.
i'll be at halloween for vegas this year so i'm unfortunately, or fortunately going to miss it, depends how you look at it.
but i'm going to see armin in vegas at 10 days so it's not that bad.
I hope armin isn't closing Monster, I hate the traffic with a passion.
I usually arrive at massives around 4pm at the latest. This year, I may have to leave later in the day. I'm a bit over an hours drive away.. If I leave at 9pm, what time would you estimate I'd actually enter the event after all is said and done (traffic @ the exit, getting parking, waiting in line, etc.)?
