but personally i think that Ronaldo gets too much attention.
I mean, if it wasn't for the other players efforts, he wouldn't of scored. They basically delivered the ball to him to put it into the goal and basically take all the credit....

Both teams were very good.

I think costa rica will win the next world cup...

and as for ronaldo... he did have all those 200% scoring opportunities in the first half, but he missed them... oh well..........

very good game all in all, I was even surprised myself of how Germany controlled the game. All of Germany needs to complete the team is one or two excellent attackers and the team will be perfect... but alas, best luck next time...

What I did not like is how the Brazilians play, even they were winning 2-0 they were kicking the ball very far, walking VERY slow when they changed players... very very annoying, that's what I hate about Brazil really. But who cares now

And you cant blame Ronaldo. He has been injured for a very long time. He came back a couple of months before the world cup and he scored 8 goals! No one has done that in a WC for over 20 years. What can you expect of him? He is my player of the tournament. And he can get even better.

Kahn has been outstanding, but should have taken ther first goal, eventhough it doesnt matter now anyways...

Both teams were worth to be in the final. Cause many players of this two teams have had already a long season in europe: long competitions, champions league (with Roberto Carlos, Ballack, Kahn, ...). Where teams like France and Argentina (which also have many players in the long european competitions) were tired, and as a result they could go home after the first round, Germany and Brasil continued and showed their great talent, despite a long season.

And to zoomp: I don't understand why you can laugh with a goal keeper like Kahn: he showed he was the greatest keeper of the tournament, even risking his own safety in some actions. And making a mistake with the first goal of Ronaldo, shows he's also a human being like any other player at the field. Actually at the half, the stand could already have been 2 - 0 for Brasil with some good scoring opportunities for Ronaldo, but he missed those very good chances ... or maybe it was the superb Kahn who had a hand in it ...
