Maybe Tiesto should try it... to see what it's like to produce his music.

Indeed, I can't believe people actually pay for remix parts.

Have you heard the track? No bueno. I don't want to pay him for the tracks.

Love Emily Haines' voice though.

true. entered a couple, and the best never win, it's always just random entries which are the most commercial...

this is pure lolz though, comment about tiesto remixing it to learn how to produce.

NICE.

". September 29th - October 5th: Download phase - The remix parts of Knock You Out. You may purchase the stems individually or bundled at $4.99 USD. "

This completely stifles the remix comp. Why the hell are they charging? I happen to believe I'm at least a 7/10 producer and this completely makes me want to not compete. So lame, fuck this.

Posted by mfitterer1 on Sep-30-2009 03:53:

And they give only what like 2.5 weeks? I guess someone is just a little to used to having their engineers create errr finish their work

I wouldn't want to be associated with his new garbage anyways. It's the poppiest edm i've heard in a while.

Posted by parafrNalia on Sep-30-2009 03:59:

If it was a track I could do a little more with, I might actually participate... You know, like Carpe Noctum.

Sadly this seems to be the trend with most remix comps these days. It truly is a sad state of affairs.

Posted by hexadecimal on Sep-30-2009 05:18:

Of course they're going to charge. Selling the thought of becoming famous to a bunch of bedroom DJ turned bedroom producer types has got to be more lucrative than selling shit music on beatport to a bunch of people who don't pay for music anyway.

yeah it sucks why you have to pay for a remix pack now, someone should torrent it and that will teach them. lol
