Blue Foundation - Sweep (Hernan Cattaneo & John Tonks Little Intro Mix)

Did this ever see a digital release?

It's actually available at some of the more major music outlets, like Amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sweep-Herna...e/dp/B001N083ZU

Not sure if this is unmixed, though- will find out in a second.

Thanks. Really surprised it isn't on Beatport.

Yeah, I figured it something like this were to be anywhere, it would be on some of the more prominent Dance Music download sites.

I checked for it some time ago on Beatport, and didn't bother making a broader search for it until tonight.

I think that's directly from Sequential 2 which would mean it's mixed. I don't see anything in Discogs about this being released in full either.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of.

I'm pretty sure that if anyone has a hold of this, it was just sent out as a promo to a few people here and there.

Awesome remixes like this deserve an actual release. So sad.

It happens though. At the end of the day, especially in this day of mega-trainspotting, it adds a little bit imo to music to have some intrigue, mystery and tracks we shall never be able to get.

The whole Sequential 2 mix compilation is available digitally in mixed + unmixed form in iTunes at least (I'm sure I've seen it elsewhere too). Some of the tracks aren't full though, for example:

"James Harcourt - Arachnofunk" is 4:28 on the release, while in reality it should be 6:18.

"Chaim - Popsky" seems to be longer on the Sequential 2 digital release actually, as it doesn't fade out like a minute before it ends, like it does on the digital release of the Popsky EP and they're about the same length 7:19 vs. 7:25. So the "original release" of Popsky is only about 6:25, while the "Sequential 2 release" is 7:19.

I'm guessing this might have something to do with Beatport accidentally releasing the unmixed version too, altho it was apparently never supposed to be released. Maybe they just released it everywhere because it was already "out". Dunno.

I hope this made some sense.

Anyway, the "Blue Foundation - Sweep (Hernan Cattaneo & John Tonks Little Intro Mix)" is 3:21 long on the release and ends in a gradual fade out from 2:50 till the end.
