Super rich are $300 billion lighter

| The financial crisis cut the net worth of the nation's 400 most wealthy individuals to $1.27 trillion this year, according to published list. |
I would not even call the Obama administration progressive or interested in money distribution. Some call it that.
This is a good deal for us middle class folks. Obama says he would prefer to spread the wealth around.
It's interesting the way they would go about it.

The value of their holdings may be down but the top 1% still own the bottom 95%.

Except the wealth pie isn't static, so stats like this are utterly meaningless.

What about the wealth gap under stalinism and the rampant corruption :P
Also doesn't that figure also sortof depend on how many ceo's there are. Just because there are less companies around so they ceo's get payed a bit more doesn't make workers worse off. Number of CEO's in that graph and test conditions (is there a minimum size of a company for a ceo to be concidere a ceo?) are required to be able to judge this effectively.

So are you implying there is no increasing wealth gap? I didn't conduct the study, so I am not the one to ask about how the study was done. Nonetheless, I think the study was well done, conducted with academic diligence.

Well I'm not sure, I'm just unsure of the interpretation of statistics so something like that I'm wary of.
