Armin NOT at Dancevalley
I was reading Armin's website and checking the GIG section when I saw this:
03-08-2002 - Dance Valley, NL, PERFORMANCE BY ARMIN CANCELLED DUE TO BREACH IN CONTRACT BY DANCEVALLEY
NOW WHAT GOD D*MN... first Tiesto who cancelled (ok touring with Moby is worth that) and now Armin cancelled. Looks like UDG doesn't have everything straight, uh?
Well, there over 150 Dj's left to choose out off.
Fact of life, but most promoters have a plan B, it will be interesting to see what their plan B is. I hope for the dutch ppl's sake, it is not DJ Jean taking their spots.
So wait...Tiesto IS touring with Moby in the US right now? Cause I think Moby is coming here sometime in July...now this will be amazing if Tiesto comes to Pittsburgh!
If plan B = DJ Jean they have to set up a whole new tent called 'Shitty'... i don't think he suits in 'progressive' or 'eurogrooves'...
Why should they not cancel all the names? it was allready sold out before there was an line-up.
grtz,
TNG
Tiesto, Moby, Carl Cox, Digweed and many others are touring USA and Canada. It's called the Area:Two festival (succesor to last year's Area:One)
7/26/2002 Pittsburgh, PA Amphitheatre@Station Square with Dirty Vegas and Azure Ray On Sale Now buy tickets
7/28/2002 Washington DC Nissan Pavillion Area2 with David Bowie, Busta Rhymes, Blue Man Group, Ash, Carl Cox, John Digweed and DJ Tiesto among others... On Sale Now buy tickets
7/30/2002 Philadelphia, PA Tweeter Center Area2 with David Bowie, Busta Rhymes, Blue Man Group, Ash, Carl Cox, John Digweed and DJ Tiesto among others... On Sale Now buy tickets
7/31/2002 Holmdel, PA PNC Bank Arts Center Area2 with David Bowie, Busta Rhymes, Blue Man Group, Ash, Carl Cox, John Digweed and DJ Tiesto among others... On Sale Now
That sucks so bad! Only 2 days later and Tiesto joins the tour! And then he comes back to PA on the other side of the state (8 hour drive).

This is soooo typical. UDC always fuck up in some way... like last year when their headlining DJ for Impulz (Carl cox) cancelled. Or impulz outdoor... for which they'd allready had started ticket sales...later on they had to cancel the entire festival because they didn't get the proper permits (spelling?)
Luckily Armin's not the main reason I'm going to DV
