Adam Solomon - Dancing Near the End of Time [Deep/Melodic Houz]

Hey guys,

I have been planning this one out for a little while and I finally decided it's time to get drunk and record it

I hope you enjoy. The title is obviously based on the 4th track, which one of my favorite cuts, from 2007. I always wanted to include it in a mix and am glad that I finally did.

Don't be surprised if I post another mix in the next week or two. I have been gathering a lot of tracks as of late and it would be a shame not to put them to good use.

Track List:

01 Rissidium - Daytime Fantasies (Urban District Remix) [NightChild Records]
02 Metrica - Dowine Clust [2600 Records]
03 Markos - Actuality (Unus Emre Remix) [Booth Trax]
04 Kellyyss - Near the End of Time [2600 Records]
05 Jay Tripwire - Metropolis of Light [Four Seasons Recordings]
06 Ian Pooley - Around Here [Pooled Music]
07 Evern Ulusoy - Love in Spacesuit [Night Drive Music]
08 Jim Rivers - By Any Means [Four:Twenty Recordings]
09 Thugf*cker - Seratonin (Kiki Remix) [Mood Music]
10 Andre Lodemann - Vehemence of Silence (Atjazz Perspective) [Room With a View]
11 Glimpse and Jay Shepheard - Colours [Glimpse Recordings]
12 Bsound - Sticky Smoothy [Aenaria Recordings]
13 Salt Sweet - Blue Haze (Mastercris Remix) [Low Flow Records]
14 Motorcitysoul - Vivid (Roman Fluegel's Desperate Dub) [Simple Records]
15 Glimpse and Martin Eyerer - Southern Soul (Stephan Hinz Re-Rub) [Buzzin' Fly]
16 Florian Kruse - Be Active (Neil Quigley Remix) [Brown Eyed Boys]
17 Sebastian Davidson - Swabian Pancakes (Estroe's Raisins Remix) [Conya Records]

Total Running Time: 1hr 14m 30s

deep and melodic? im in

finished listening

smooth transitions, i liked the intro track.
the build up is excellent and the set is really going somewhere instead of just standing in the same place.
liked a lot the crossover from deep to more funky sound when you played "colours" and then back to deep with "Sticky Smoothy".

my favorites are:
Jay Tripwire - Metropolis of Light
Bsound - Sticky Smoothy
Salt Sweet - Blue Haze (Mastercris Remix)

thanks you very much!

Dude you pump more sets out than anyone on here (not a bad thing).

Do you not work or what

I don't think that's the case, man. The last one I posted was nearly two months ago. And I do work on a full-time basis. Besides, a 1 hour and 15 minute set doesn't take more than 1 hour and 15 minutes to record, ya know?

Damn. I wish I could nail sets in one crack more often!
Good work my friend.

Got about 3/4 through this until I had to leave the house, but from what I heard it was very lush. Melodies aren't something I hear a lot anymore and you went full on with them, I loved it.

Definitely going to give this another go.

Ooh! ANOTHER one Adam? Will grab

Posted by Sushipunk on Oct-08-2009 05:30:

Sorry for the late bump Adam, I though I'd already left a comment.

This is another sweet mix from you mate, I've given it 5 or 6 listens now. You always manage to get this... vibe in your sets. It's always just pleasant to listen to.

Cheers for the tunes

really nice for just after waking up

got into it around track #4 (which is a sick tune)
#13 was also really good, gotta get that

smooth mixing and a nice feel overall

Thanks guys!

Really glad you were feeling this one

Posted by lenazi on Oct-08-2009 15:48:

i'll get to this soon, i might go on the wine route in the eastern townships this weekend, so i will see how this sounds in the car and if it makes me road rage.

This is really random, but don't you think "dancing near the end of time" would have a darker/apocalyptic vibe to it?

Or would you be in tranquility...hrmmm.
