Next stop, Ascantha (downtempo trip-hop chillout lo-fi jazz lounge funk indie)

I was inspired by Demoted to make a downtempo jazzy trip-hop mix after listening to burundanga (link). Originally I was going to just make a straight forward trip-hop downtempo mix but this one turned out a bit different, adding such bands like the beatles (one of my all time favorite bands) and stuff i wouldnt even dream of like snow patrol, it all kinda just fell into place, but the transitions may sound a bit dodge in some areas where i couldnt quite figure out the tempo of the track! However it sure was alot of fun gluing this one together!

@paulandrews : i kind of cheated with transition between them two tracks but they do flow into together with the piano theme

oh, i really liked that placement of typhoon tosh - snakes and ladders in your mix, that was a great sounding tune (the bass was fantastic) tried to get moar of that stuff, could not find

Listened to this today. Definitely duuuug most of the tracks. There was some odd times where it was just like "errr, play this track" and it kinda disturbed the flow, but hey, I did that too, haha.

In any case, this will be on rotation as the jams were kicking, and some of the mixes were snazzy.

@demoted : Glad you enjoyed the mix fella! I did warn that some of them transitions were dodge lol notably the beatles one, I rushed that one a bit too much if im critical about things! I will work on another mix in the future but I'll veer towards the more analog/acoustic sounds!

@mr game watch : Ya perpetual dawn is a fantastic track on the orb album, I get visions of rastafarians and herbal stuff when this kicks in Let us know how ya get on dude!

some of these tracks are slowed way down; they just sound a bit off. "A Little Soul" is one of my favorite beats of all time and I can't say I like it slowed down this much.

I'm diggin most of the mix - just not all of it.
