yeah. The whole style is horrible. Story line isnt that great. If it had more to do with rave culture, it would be better. But even if I wasnt expecting a rave movie, it would be bad. No offense UKTAs, but the British arent known for the good film productions (cept the Monty Python woot!) I like the music that plays though. I dunno. I think its a C grade video. It has some weird shit, and the people arent good looking lol. Feels like an amateur film

Seems to follow 'rave culture' pretty closely to me... I've been in many of those situations myself, and I've never even partied in the U.K. Try it sometime, you might just realize that the movie's closer to real life than you'd think.

It pretty much was an amateur film... it started out in film festivals in the U.K. and just took off from there. Nice review, Captain Superficial.

Personally this is one of my favourite movies, I'd highly recommend at least giving it a view. The director has an interesting way of getting different moods and ideas across (the voiceover/dreamsequence bits are hilarious), funny dialogue, its got a great soundtrack, and its highly quoteable. I said.... NICE ONE BROTHA!!

You must be joking! That movie was made years ago but it's stil one of the most relevent, amusing and thought provoking movies i've seen in a loooooooong time. I understand that living in the US you may not get all the mannerisms and speech which is really too bad as it's a truly hilarious show. one word, i love this movie...why? cuz its REAL. its not hollywood glazed or mtv depicted rave scene...its the truth, and you know what, my life i can associate my weekend to almost everything in that movie. from the work day to the after party, there are all instances where we come across...so watch it a few more times and you'll understand. i took me the 3rd time to fully understand it, and now i love it. i must have watched it over 50 times....

And I understand that rave culture is a way of life, an attitude yada yada. But they spent too much time bullshitting with eachother. Lot of extraneous stuff. Part of the problem is I came in with a thought of what it would be, because people compared it to Groove...which is completely different. The feeling I got was that these people were thinking to themselves "OH MY GOD IM IN FRONT OF A CAMERA! WOOT!" I felt like they were tryin to not look at the camera. Again, I just didnt like it. I hold nothing against those of you who did like it, I just got something different out of it...sall good.

Basically you can say that about anything. Someone doesn't like comedy movies and you can give em' a list and they can just use something like that to back it up. I'm sure that there are tons more amazing british movies but since I'm in Canada I don't really see many of them but from what I have seen I like some while I don't like others.

NICE ONE BRUV!

I saw the movie before going to go see Tall Paul a few months back. My friends and I stood in front of the DJ booth screaming NICE ONE BRUV! and had a group of 10-15 ppl around us doing the same. Paul smiled at us. It was quite cool.

Human traffic is a great movie. Compare it to other B movies, and you will see its actually quite well done.

Orbax, IRL not everyone is good looking. The highs dont last forever. This movie shows this quite clearly.

Its not meant to have all the glitz of a hollywood production

I find Groove is really an idealistic, PLURry look at the rave scene, and while the premise kicked ass the characters and dialogue were pretty weak. Human Traffic is more of a down to earth look at people who just want to party and have a good time. They basically toured the club scene, and I don't think the movie even mentioned the word "rave" at all.

Just like it was mentioned above a few times, it is good cause it's not Hollywood and it's realistic.
European cinema is the most artistic (ie. the best) in the world. Isn't film still a form of art? To Americans it is not and never was. US has MAYBE a few good producers here and there worth watching & mentioning (1 in a 100 million), the rest just aim for box office high, computer-generated special affects and eye-candy (implants, anorexia, muscles, platinum-blonde hair etc. etc.) - without creativity and especially talent in film making. And what's even worse is that the society supports it.
WHY is beyond me..
I am boycotting American movies. Waste of time & money.

I love this movie.

I think what i like about it best is all the memories of night's out it reminds me of. From how excited they are meeting up in the car to the first moments in the club when they go out. I got this on dvd and im sure i will watch it plenty in the future. This movie is a classic of our times!
