DJ Soulstone - Trance is meant to be Psychedelic [Goa-Trance]
This time I wanted to to do a real Goa set, but since I have neither CDJs nor a DVS, I used a program. Well, this mix is no liveset, but still a darn sweet piece of music.
In the end it became a tribute mix to Goasia and Electric Universe. Enjoy 70mins of GOAlicious dance music!

Well, in german it's written with an "o"...
This looks delicious. Never heard Forest, Ghetto, Voyager and Sunny Morning from Goasia.
Voyager is probably my favourite track by Goasia, aswell as one of my all time favourites.
Sure I'll check it out!
Here is a short review with the ups and downs of the set:
Very nice intro choice, I was actually surprised how well it worked out. Neelix always produces some tracks that, although belong to the progpsy genre, have that old goa feeling, I just sense it. Good idea to put that downtempo track (I guess it is the first Goasia one). It flowed nicely even though it is downtempo. The rest of the tracks were all spot on, Goasia and Electric Universe never disappoint.
Although the track selection was good, the mixing was not on the same level. A bit rushed transition, some were actually instant and that hurt the flow on some moments. I guess it is because you used some program (which?) and the transitions were the biggest let down here.
Overall I enjoyed it, I always like that goa feel combined with some fresh sound (Neelix and the Electric Universe ones). Make a longer live set, I am sure it will be a better one!
Hah! I certainly didn't expect that.
But actually you saying that is very interesting. I'm getting bored with fine tuning a program quite fast...
