Daft Punk

Have they ever been to Atlanta?

Apparently they'll be starting a new tour next summer for Electroma (their next album?). We should try and get them to come here, n'est-ce pas?

as long as its not at NATC

Posted by trancension on Oct-13-2009 21:22:

Obviously

I would be so there, don't see it happening though.

Electrorama is that weird movie and soundtrack they made. I liked it personally. Yeah i doubt you'll see them in Atl but who knows. NYC and LA will be for sures.

Their set fee is outrageous

Gotta pay off the light pyramid somehow.

that would be a show that would have the production of like a lil wayne or britney spears concert and that would prob have to be a philips arena.

meaning DOLLA DOLLA BILL YALL (very pricy)

would be nice though

Ahhh, that's what Electroma is?

Well, they have been to places like St. Louis, Seattle and Denver before. We probably have a chance. But ya, it's a slim one I imagine.

They retired the pyramid.

Then let's make it happen!

Gonna' have to book George Acosta a couple of tens of times to make up for the lost money on Tiesto though

from 0:48 till the end really captures the amount of people there. Daft punk @ LA sports arena.

If it were to happen, somehow I really don't see Liquified being the ones to bring them.

It would be awesome at Phillips Arena.

Posted by enydo on Oct-14-2009 18:38:

It would be exorbitantly expensive, but a ton of fun.

Posted by iammesol on Oct-14-2009 20:19:

MJ seems to think he can do it.

Definitely sorry for this misleading, because Daft Punk is just that amazing.

But ya, just wanted to know if they had been to Atlanta before. If they hadn't, I figured maybe that'd increase our chances on their new tour I read about...I dunno how sound my logic is there though tbh.

The pyramid was great and all, but that was sooooo 2005. We need to bring the Godskitchen Boombox to the southeast.

Even luckier: the first time I saw them was at Coachella, which was the very first pyramid show, and also the first live set they had done since the Homework days. After that show, the cat was pretty much out of the bag as to how fucking unbelievably awesome their show was, but before that we had no idea what to expect. This about sums up our reaction:
