IN BITCH!!!!!
DLing.
STREAMING LOL
finally
dL
ps. yesterday I purchased that lee curtis track so so good!
EDIT: also purchased party guilt which is a bomb!!! .... LOL at that sassy ho'
in.
ps - your avatar really irritated me at first, thought you were bas. I will forgive you if this mix makes my nipples hard.
Finally was able to put this on last night. It was nice to be able to talk with you about this mix for a little while, Oscar, but I'll give more detailed feedback here.
Clovis' track is a wonderful opener. Very organic sounding, thought I was in a swanky jazz club listening to this, instead of my bedroom. The Sasha Funke remix out of this was a great transition, and I already told you I was going to use that one as an opener in an upcoming mix of my own.
I liked how you picked up the energy quickly from these 2, knowing there's only an hour to work with, you didn't fuck around with it and got to the meat and potatoes fast. Without seeming like you were in a hurry to get there (if that makes any sense?).
On that point as well, for only being an hour, you really introduced a lot of sounds in this mix. Kept me interested the whole way through.
As usual, the mix was technically sound, so I won't go into beat matching/phrasing compliments as you obviously know what you're doing there.
All in all a great hour of music, mate. You rarely disappoint and this mix is no exception.
Well done!

Listened to this on the way to work this morning and thought it was dope.
I didn't realize that was Clovis' track when I listened to his opening set where he also played it. Honestly, I would have never thought so
becasue of the vocals and the overall production, but that is some fucking good shit for a first-timer. Clovis should definitly work on a
few more tracks and get them released. On Culprit probably?
I really like the Sacha Funke remix of Disconnected and like Chris, I had also planned on kicking off a mix with it sometime in the near
future.
The rest of the mix was really nice, too. You've obviously taken to a certain sound and it shows. Very strnog Culprit/Crosstown Rebels support.
I swear when I heard "Whole Life" at first I was thinking "Oh God, not another track with that vocal sample" but it surprisingly locks a really
solid groove around it and overall I really like that track.
Great effort on the whole. It has me wondering, though, are you still into that whole UrbanTorque/2600/Night Drive/Add2Basket sound? I've seen
your tastes change quite a bit, but I really enjoyed some of your older sets and can't help but wonder if we'll hear anything new in that vain.
fantastic mix. in the same vein as to what i've been listening and playing this fall. will be picking up a lot of these tracks myself.
you know i love that oxia track. and i must voice along with everyone else: Clovis - sick production... how do I get a copy?
looking nice, downloading now.

Unfortunately, I am having the same problem playing this mix at work, on Windows Media Player 9, like I had with your last set... (Holic's set played fine though). So I only got a chance to listen to the first 45 min last Monday while at the gym. Will be listening again when I go tonight!
There were several songs I was really digging on... Disconnected and Black Door Beauty, they were deep with nice subtle, almost haunting melodies. The Forgotten Note was another favorite, I have it in my BP crate actually. Very quirky and catchy. And of course I will have to give a shout to the Clovis song, since it's the first production I ever heard from him. It had a great cut-up sample and solid production, although I am not sure if it really lead into Disconnected/Black Door Beauty, since it was quite the different vibe from them.
Mixing and EQing sound on-point as always, and I didn't notice any issues with them whatsoever. I will have to take a few more listens and then provide further comments though... and oh yeah, Holic's set was pretty kickass too.
If you make the Groove part 2, I will be first in line to d/l it
