What type of second hand movement do you like?

The tick tick tick time or the smooth rotation of the hand.

I kinda like the smooth, but it gives me a bad perception of a second. I think of seconds as discrete moments of time on a clock with out any inbetween. I know thats wack but oh well.

I like the soft tick-tick-tick sound of a quartz clock. It's strangely comforting. It's also fun to play The Prodigy's Mindfields while watching the second hand move in time to the rhythm.
