WMC 2010 Official Dates Announced Today

The 2010 Winter Music Conference dates are set for Tuesday March 23rd to Saturday March 27th in Miami Beach Florida

I think everyone expected these dates, and hotel prices have already been accordingly sky high.

Might actually make sense to be a delegate.

Analysts are saying the dollar could be lower by 20% next year. I'd rather go to Ibiza but that's rough.

id say go to ibiza. wmc events are great but the annual events for the most part are where people go. Most new events or new artists dont get that great of a turnout there. And it really comes down to the organizer/promoter there. Might be an amazing lineup but 10 people show up if the organizer is new. Its a very safe market during wmc for attendees. Not many risk going to new events. Not saying this is always the case, but most of the time it is.

I did not go to WMC last year to make the trip to Ibiza this year. Yes all your friends will be living it up for a few days at WMC while you are saving every penny you can for your Trip. But that 2 weeks in Ibiza is SO WORTH IT!

Ibiza has the best sun, sand, life style, culture, music and clubs! The island blows what WMC has to offer way out of the water!!!

You and Gina NEED to go to Ibiza!

Not sure if I am going this year or not. After Going to Ibiza I want to travel more. So I am thinking of Saving for Full on Ferry next year and do Burning Man in the Summer.

Like Michelle said, beans and rice. Just eat 3 times the amount of beans and rice you would for Miami and you'll have the money for Ibiza too.

I would have to agree with this as well, even though I have not had the luxury to go overseas yet. I am looking to change that next year. I was planning Ibiza this summer, but the damn economy really killed my flow of funds. I was quite upset to say the least! So i am looking fwd to Ibiza for 2010 considering it will be the anniversay for most clubs there so it should be a big year for Ibiza!

Why did Armin not even given the RESPECT OF CLOSER FOR Ultra!? What's with that? So I am looking to plan a trip to WMC this year, but I am considering going to the Amsterdam Music Festival (Amsterdance)instead...at least I can smoke pot on the street there! well practically,

With my brother's wedding during Coachella (much sadness), I'll probably do both. I'm planning to visit some friends in Barcelona & Sitges in July, so I'll make a stopover in Ibiza again, before heading out to Italy.

be careful with booking a condo... DON'T send money via a wire/western union. only go with reputable places/management companies/ones you can pay via credit card/paypal...

2 groups of friends got scammed last year by the same guy advertising condos for rent... they were out like $4-5K between the both of them.

Yeah, we were pretty wary about this too when we booked ours. Paid with paypal for the extra protection.
