I absolutely loved this song and still do. What a classic.

Any game songs that bring you right back...

I liked C better than B whenever i played back in the day. I remember every time i played with the C music, i was just in the zone, and hit more multiple lines better than with B music playing.

I also remember how odd i was so meticulous with my Tetris music. Whenever I let my friend / sibling play, they would set their music as A. When i would play after, and notice it's a different song, i would have to restart the game boy, and set the music back to B or C.

+1 on Ocarina of Time

And since someone else decided to give up on Final Fantasy VII, I'll bring it back up with a little change:

Although I picked those two, the rest of the soundtrack is also awesome. Pick any song from there and it'll take me back.

i used to switch it up in tetris as a kid but always found myself going back to C type music. nowadays i leave the music off, for some reason i like the sound of dropping tetrads and clearing lines more than music. i'm straight mnml yo

also if we're talkin final fantasy music, i always liked this one:

imo it's a kinda shitty arrangement though, it doesn't have the same feel as the in-game version:

always liked this one too

and this one

and this

and this

i'm a dork. lol

dude, almost every track on that game is fucking unforgettably fantastic, but i always remember subconsciously jamming out to this one while playing so groovy.

haha, you're alright in my book then. though i only got down with the castlevanias that were SOTN style, ie only the GBA and DS ones.

^ Later sampled in an awesome Bone Thugs N Harmony song.

^ Ditto

^ for the lulz

^ by the amazingly brilliant Rob Hubbard... showing some C64 love. If you only listen to one of these, make it this one.

Also, the amazing soundtrack to Descent II for you old-school PC gamers. I used to always swipe my dad's disc and play the soundtrack in my CD player all day.

Friday the 13th, for NES:

This game is utterly horrible, in most of the ways that NES games could be, but the soundtrack made all the procedings a little more tolerable.

By the way, I'm really glad I gave this one the Game Genie treatment, because the ending was in no way worth the excruiciating gameplay required to reach it.
