MSTRKRFT, the duo made up of Death From Above 1979's Jesse Keeler and DFA1979's producer, Al-P, are preparing for their debut album, The Looks (Last Gang). The duo made their debut in 2004, remixing NYC band Panthers' "Thank Me With Your Hands", which landed on various compilations and quickly became an underground dance hit. Since then, the two Toronto-based producers have been remixing everyone from The Kills to Bloc Party to Wolfmother to Annie. The album, set for release on May 16th, is headed off by the lead single Easy Love, available on iTunes right now. Already being hailed by press both overseas (Vice UK, Disorder) and domestic (The Fader just featured them as one of their favorite remixing teams), MSTRKRFT are destined to pack dance floors and magazine space over 2006. La Dolce Vita is a Chicago based production duo comprised of Graham Cody and Andy Holbrook. this was the most amazing electro night I've ever seen in Milwaukee.
completely mental. MSTRKRFT fucking owned big time. crazy encores.
and the surprise guest of DJ Funk made things ridiculous.

I expected better of La Dolce, as I've played with them and seen them live before. Their set was all over the place and how many times do you need to filter pass during a song?
