are there any audio demos available yet

If you know what it is there is no need. These are the type of products you would buy even if your deaf. Same goes for omnisphere.

I'll be purchasing on next months pay day!

Just wanted to compare it to Trilogy. I use Trilogy for almost all Bass needs. Is trillian just more (10x more) patches than trilogy along with a few bells and whistles or are we talking about a new instrument here.

It's only $300? Snap!

Very jealous, that's my next purchase

Posted by Zombie0729 on Nov-05-2009 16:20:

for whatever reason trillians steam engine loads 5x faster than my omnisphere one so i'm LOVING trillian right now. patches do take (on my system) about 3-5 sec to load but other than that the quality is great. since this is only 1.1b it only ships with 100 presets, spectrasonics said 100s more would become available by the end of the month.

Arp 2600 sine wave FTW... this thing is huge(thats what she said)

Posted by SoundMagus on Nov-05-2009 16:25:

wooo wait a minute, on the videos they say 34GB of sounds come with it, whats that all about then?

piracy prevention.

Posted by SoundMagus on Nov-05-2009 17:06:

No I don't believe that's the case, as it also comes with the 3.5gb sound banks from the original Trilogy, so even that is more than 100 pre-sets.

Something fishy afoot I reckon !

all the soundwaves are there, they just haven't made presets for all of them yet they did say that in the patches expansion they might add a few extra waves as well but they have the raw sounds of everything, just haven't made patches/presets

Weird as in the videos he clearly states all Trilogy patches and goes through literally hundreds of patches, wonder what theme spectrasonics doodes are up to

all the trilogy source sounds are in there... just not like "DEEP & WARM BASS" etc... just making sure we're on the same page

Posted by SoundMagus on Nov-05-2009 20:37:

hmm well i will wait and see whats what when it arrives

Posted by Kismet7 on Nov-18-2009 16:40:

Any more impressions?

How do the sounds sit and cut through the mix?

Think i'll be getting this in a few weeks, hopefully a patch of any fixes it might need is done by then.
