Vocal Trance 2009
I know a lot of you find Vocal Trance to be "cheesy", but man I listen to tracks like Giuseppe Ottaviani's "No More Alone", or Paul Van Dyk's "Reflections" and its just the best stuff Ive ever heard in my life. (Just 2 examples, the best of vocal trance is certainly not contained to PvD or Giuseppe!)
Im wondering whats the best vocal trance tracks of 2009?
Which tracks will knock me on my ass, and "fcuk" me from behind so to speak?
Thats the type of music I want here. Serious vocal trance. Can be club oriented or more ambient, relaxed, downtempo. Vocals can add so much emotion to a song and vocal trance is beautiful when executed properly. Best vocal tracks of 2009? Anyone?

I also dig some vocal trance and sing to it in the car.
Filo & Peri Feat. Aruna - Ashley ( First State remix )
Medina - You & I ( Dash Berlin remix )
Armin Van Buuren Feat. Jennifer Rene - Fine without you
Martin Roth & Alex Bartlett - Losing Gravity
Cosmic Gate Feat Kyler England - Flatline
Sunlounger Feat Kyler England - Change Your Mind
Dash Berlin - Man on the Run
Mat Cerf , Jaren - Beggin You ( Armin Van Buuren remix )
This is what comes to my mind right now....
I can't think of any vocal trance track from this year that has blown me away, not that I was expecting one anyway.
Rex Mundi - Nothing at all
Alex M.O.R.P.H - Sunset Boulevard
the only 2 vocal tracks i really liked in 2009.

Audrey Gallagher (OMG YOU GUESSED IT, MOST GENERIC VOCALIST EVER) - You Walk Away (Original Mix) [Armada] YES ARMADA. I SAID IT. Thats my opinion. The song brings emotion in me that other cheesy vocal tracks fail to instill. /me waits for the barrage of haters |
As someone else said, Imo there hasn't been any serious vocal trance this year. The majority has been commercial rubbish sounding all the same.
But to be honest you liked 'No more alone' So theres got to be loads of stuff you will enjoy. That was worst track I had heard for a long time.
