So dig out some vinyls.......
...and post them here.
Some of the gems before all this digital nonsense took over.
Furthermore some tracks on wax that hold a special or significant place in your almighty tower of vinyl.
Hoping people dig deeper than the most obvious choices with the exception of one or two.
A few from myself:
Fortress - An Angel Saved My Life
Steve Lawler - Rise In
Coast Coast - Home
De Niro - Deepsky
Laurent Garnier - Man With The Red Face
Condor - Kiss My Ass (Light Of Day Remix)
Timo Maas - Ubik
Trisco - Muzak
The above tracks remind me of when I got my first flat and had a housewarming party that lasted for several days!
Lets hear 'em then.....
i still have my copies of:
paul oakenfold presents - great wall (first ever vinyl i owned)
morgan king - i'm free (william orbit remix) (probably my rarest vinyl)
DPP - M3X1CO (kilowatts remix) (track that i had never known the title to but found randomly browsing juno after 2 years of searching)
kamaya painters - far from over (oliver lieb remix) (fav trance track from back in the day)
northern exposure - east coast edition (i <3 east coast)
I started buing vinyls a year ago tbh.
Currently I am the proud owner of:
Porcupine Tree - Lightbulb Sun
Porcupine Tree - On the Sunday of Life
Blue Planet Corporation - Blue Planet
Kings of Convenience - Declaration of Dependence
Radiohead - The Bends
Flight of the Conchords - Self Titled (It came with a unique code to d/l all of the tracks from the label website, but I already have the CD)
Cosmosis - Howling at the Moon E.P.
Juno Reactor - High Energy Protons
T.I.P - Blue
Genetic - Motion Picture
I'm thinking of using some covers as decoration
Yeah I have some that I usually pick up and enjoy.
Society London - SPQR (played by James Holden in his EM in 2001, samples Tainted Love)
The Digital Blonde - Europa EP. (One of my favourite trancers on 12", both sides are lovely).
Ivan - Red Star (A masterpiece from Oliver Lieb and very underrated)
I got a copy of Digger - Nanuki/Church Of Ra for 20 on Discogs the other day. Not a bad deal as other sellers want 60 for it. Also I haggled the seller down on price a bit more

restart this thread and post pics of those jems! then i'm in
I recently just started collecting vinyl, but I've managed to find a few things I'm proud of at the local record store.
Dance 2 Trance - Dance 2 Trance
Humate - 3 & The Remixes (Bedrock, and Mijk Van Dijk remixes, etc)
Sasha - The Qat Collection
They have a pretty large progressive section, sadly not much techno / house. Gotta do some more digging.
Damn Dance 2 Trance? I'm Jealous! Good shit.
I, also, just started collecting vinyl. Only have 70 records as of now, but have a few that I'm particularly happy to have:
Madagasca and Easter Island, Art of Trance. (Technically I have about half of his productions, and working on getting the entire Platipus catalog)
Flood, Shapeshifter
Age of Love, Age of Love
Factoid, Space Manoeuvres
Requiem For A Dream, Leama
Waters, Taucher
Healing Dream, Sunday Club
Music, Tatoine
Elevate/Sublimate, Dos Deviants
Sold all my vinyls to a friend except:
Nylon Moon - Sky Plus
Face The Phase - Face The Phase (part 2)
B.B.E. - Seven Days And One Week
(Last one is special to me, had it more than a year before it became popular, ordered it at a tiny Belgium record store Disc Kid where many DJ's buy records, but he didn't know it at that time.)
