Whats up with this? they should at least announce one trance dj already. Why havent they? Does it mean there wont be trance this year? I will be so disappointed if thats the case Stupid Dj reza last night at Monster Massive said that house is taking over. In my mind i was like BS. Please someone enlighten me loL.

well above & beyond is at giant hotel, so at least there is some trance for nye (that's assuming your 21+)

i'm pretty damn disappointed as well, i was looking forward to seeing markus schulz.

hey we still dont know much about markus shulz. He could be headlining for TAO. They still havent annouced any trance djs yet. But we can cross our fingers.

and those trance dj's u listed are not the only people that make up trance, there are other good trance artist out there.

I'm a trance head turned house head as well, so I was happy to hear the big house acts (even though highly commercial sets) @ EDC. The trance stage was pretty packed though.

IMO the crowd of people that come out with house DJ's are much that the trance acts.

You know why trance was outside? Because the main stage was outside. They couldnt have fit that many people inside the arena unless you wanted the event to be shut down. It was already packed inside and it was a house stage.

I dont think theres an indoor area thats large enough that these promoters can rent out that can fit 100k+ people.. unless they somehow get the LA convention center or an aircraft hangar.

I think I'm missing some good NYE events this year. I don't care what you guys say...both Giant and TAO look sick this year. Maybe I will have to make it back to LA this NYE. One thing I learned through my years of promotion...you guys are so damn spoiled! Look at all talent that's playing within blocks of each other on the biggest party night of the year, and every Saturday. And I'm sure more names will be added around the town and those 2 events on NYE. Just pick a party! You'll all have a blast. I promise

Thing is, for people like me flying from the East Coast I want to see an artist who makes me want to spend my money to fly that far to see them. David, Dubfire, and Sander don't do that. Sasha maybe, but I JUST saw him.

It is nice to see a different name than the usual trance Trifecta, and its cool to see them bringing in more house, but its not someone I would go out of my way to see if they were around my region.

While I don't disagree, it does get annoying with some of the same shit or issues at the party that just make it a downer.
