Hi! I would like to go to amsterdam on new years eve and I have 2 questions about that: is it cool? (fireworks...?) any good party in this city that pecific day?

About New Years Eve @ Amsterdam, I am sure there will be enough to do at Amsterdam, but about special EM events, I am not sure. And even if it did you'll need to get some tickets.
