Moshic is good, but I never heard a pure conventional progressive sound from him, only a darker one. Is the album the same?

pure conventional progressive sound? Give examples please

Posted by cjart on Jan-24-2010 13:50:

imho it's not so dark and tribalish as Moshic used to be back in the days, his style is a little bit changing more into deep, smooth and atmospheric progressive, but it's still brilliant and unique (and darky too) really huge respect for Moshic coz he's not changing into popular, trendy and overplayed techy sounds

i hope future tracks will be also as good as those from Salamat, Hiloola and Sapirinion

Can't think of any right now, but his tracks were darker than what most people would call progressive.

I'll be sure to check it out after these reviews. The last album of his I remember liking was Salamaat and that was back in 2005 if I recall correctly. But it was full of awesome progtilyabog stuff.

I agree, that would be pretty unreasonable.

How about you go to your label and say, I want 150-200 vinyls pressed so that the small subculture of vinyl enthusiasts/collectors that still exists will continue to exist can keep up with the new music as it released

If I were a producer, I dont care if I take a $1000 loss on it, my fucking music would be out on vinyl one way or another.

Do you think anyone would give shit about Omar S. in 2010 if he ONLY released digital or CD's? No, they wouldnt. People want Omar S records because he sat there with his .45 by his side individually writing the labels onto each one

Yeah, and people actually liking his music has nothing to do with it whatsoever.

It's still a matter of finances, dude. How do you know that Moshic has $1,000 to throw at it? In addition, it's not just the cost of the blank vinyl he would have to throw at it, it's the money that he'd have to shell out for the machine to press the vinyls "by his side", which would cost FAR more than an arm and a leg. At that point, the label still won't be down to shell out an additional grand if Moshic couldn't do it himself.

Omar-S does it because, not only does he have the passion for it, he has the money for it. Doing shit like this, even out of your bedroom, is extremely costly.
