Falony - Inharmonious Skeez [hiphop/ebony chatter/butter churnin']
Back again for another foray into hiphop. This time I went a bit more low-key and deep houseyish. Sure, it can get a bit faggy at parts, and once again, I am fully aware that Will.I.Am is in this, but hopefully it's still enjoyable.

im in thar.
I'm down for more hip-hops. I'll send this to Ralph too, I'm sure he'll enjoy.
Because he's a negroid?
well, yeah. and he's pretty into hip-hop, he liked your other mixes.
hah, I was jkrowling btw
haha I wasn't raging. I mean, he is very black.
Quite a buoyant yet delightfully hoodrich negroid.
A smattering of trillbiscuits.

It seems like everyone is posting sets these days but not listening. I'm here to break that mold, fuckers.
Excellent opener. A bit of a surprising first transition, perhaps a little bit of a smoother mix would have been nicer.
Not just dead sure what happened in the 2nd transition. The flow kinda died then you popped up the next track. It's not a big deal, I'm sure hiphop is much rougher to mix than anything else. When I play rap/hiphop at parties it's hard to match the beat perfectly so I have respect for you nailing most of them like you do. 3rd transition was smooth. Tracks have been outstanding so far.
This track with the chicks felt a little out of place. I didn't really dig it.
Finished out the set, and I must say, there was a lot of variety and the tracks were good but on the whole the mixing was a bit up and down. I'm know it's hard to mix hip hop properly, but sometimes I felt your transitions were a bit rushed, sometimes a little late, or a bit abrupt. Not a bad set by any means, I thought the flow was great!
You keep pumping out these hip hop sets, how many more of these do you have under your belt?
lol @ ebony chatter.
i'm always in for these. wooooord.
You negroids might enjoy this

Fuck yeah J Dilla. I need to get that.
wolf + lamb = lyfe
now this had some flava. i really like the stuff in the middle, a lot of melody and "deep houseyish" (as you mentioned), didn't make it seem as dry as i expected it to be.
the focus is still on the lyrics tho. it's difficult to keep this on at work as just "background noise" i tend to find myself delving into listening to the ebony chatter and grooving along.
really dug this, will be perfect for the car ride home.
Aaaaawwwww sheeeeeet!!!

| Originally posted by Demoted Hah, thanks for the in-depth review as always. I feel bad for not getting to your mix yet, nor for being as verbose lol. |

| Yeah, some of the tracks are pretty faggy/bassy. Point taken. I still grooved like a slut choking on cotton candy and pompoms. But yeah, definitely kinda queermo and out of place. |
I mean, come on, they can't all be stompers, I still dug 95% of your set.| quote: |
| As for the mixing, I was kinda fucking a bit with stuff and let most of my mixes slide a little. Oh well, I don't think I'll ever get 100% with mixing the hippity. |
This is really great stuff. I have to say this is my favorite hip-hop mix you've made thus far. Everything flowed very nicely and there seemed to be a wide variety in overall "sound" of the mix. I also actually knew a couple of the tracks this time around which added a little flavor of recognition. You have some pretty legit scratching skills too. I did notice a couple of beat-matching slips, but that happens to everyone, right? Top notch!
sorry i havent replied, i gots soo much music to listen to and i must admit, ive only part listened to this, but i do approve
not really into hip hop/rap but it certainly is different than everything else on this forum
i am inspired to make moar and i hope you should be too!
will give a moar in depth review once i've listened in full! peace out brother
Sweet, thanks for the time everyone. I'll try to keep churning these out. I was really waiting on elfreak to finish his hiphop mix.
