Did u see how ridiculous that thread got? It doesn't matter how advertised the party was, if the ppl throwing the party are saying it's a secret location, ppl shouldn't be posting it on a public forum. Just respect the promoters by following directions. Simple as. Is it really that complicated for some? Some people just have no clue, no matter how many years they've been partying.

From now on, if anybody wants info on Blk|Market Membership parties, just ask me through PM and I will answer any questions anyone may have. The drama left Taimur quite drained, lol.

I think the problem was that numerous people that RSVPed a month ago didn't get the address. I know I didn't and neither did kidnyce. You said to follow the directions, but if you did, you shouldn't be wondering where it is the day before/of.

Also, they probably should have told Sasha not to broadcast the address on his site.

Lastly, it's Timeout NY's party of the week - http://newyork.timeout.com/articles...concert-preview

If they really wanted the address to be secret, they should have waited until 2 hours before, not 2 days, and they should have made sure the DJ didn't publish it, either. But had they done that, then a lot of us would have been fucked because we didn't get the address anyhow.

exactly. this is a trance addict forum. not trance elitist forum. "some" people need to kick it down a notch. whether they be n00bs or vets in the scene...i just realize someone people dont know all the kinks to what a blackmarket party is all about. Give them the benefit of the doubt...everyone needs to learn somewhere...i bet when you first found out about a show like this you wet the bed and told everyone thus becoming "not" so secret. I hope this makes sense and most of all i hope everyone attending this event tonight makes the most of it

Meh... the ppl that go to 13 are the same people for the most part (from what I know).

Who gives a sh*t if Sasha posted it on his website anyway? The people that really want to know and know where to look, will find it. Treat a Blk|Market party like reSOLUTE or minimoo, posting the address of a party of this nature on a public forum is a big no-no, it's not rocket science, it's common sense. Hell, in the beginning of minimoo they only sent texts with the address and would send the address only a few hours before the event and nobody bitched the way TA's do.

When a promoter posts "secret location" just respect that and if you do want to share the info, keep it to email or PMs, there are a lot of eyes that read this forum

secret location makes sense leading up to the annoucement which came in the form of emails. trying to maintain secrecy on TA once the information is available to the masses doesn't make much sense because technically it's no longer a secret. like a lot of people i RSVP'ed and didn't get an email. chaska i respect that you are willing to tell people who ask where the party is via PM but how are you filtering who you can tell and if there is no type of filtration process how is that any different than posting it in a thread?

Finally! I keep looking at the thread hoping for a positive review because I expect greatness from Sasha....Unfortunately most of the messages I got from the party were dissapointing

I was hoping to make it, but unfortunately my BF had a business trip all week that postponed our anniversary plans til last night....glad to see SOME people had fun!!
