didnt even know this was happening tonite until i flipped to CBS! Good fight.
I was scared for Fedor at one point in the 1st round. But honestly, there was no way Fedor was going to lose.
Now gimme fedor vs. Lesnar, I want that gorilla to take a beating

God I hope not, Werdum is a boring fighter and not much of a challenge for Fedor. Alistair's been talking about wanting to fight Fedor (and he still holds the SF HW title), so hopefully he's Fedor's next opponent...thats if he can pass the piss test lol.

As much as I want to see it as well, Fedor is doing the smart thing by not entering UFC. I bet Fedor is thinking.... Lesnar... too strong, too fast, and too young.
Give them a couple more years, atleast, then he'll take him out Posted by I_Am_Vince on Nov-08-2009 15:50:
Yeah Lesnar will probably beat Fedor due to just sheer size. Lesnar has like 60 lbs on Fedor. He's also getting better and better as time goes by and gets more training. Everyone saw how easily he took on Couture, and he even looked better against Frank Mir. Fedor would probably have to go standup against Lesnar, and even then Lesnar is getting better in Boxing and can take hits.
I'm a big Fedor fan but Lesnar is just too big, fast, and strong.

I would love to see Fedor fight Lesnar. Hopefully he'll recover soon from his illness.

I don't think that will happen unless Brock leaves UFC.

yea I know...wishful thinking lol
I also don't wanna see a rematch with Rogers. Instead, he should fight someone who presents a bigger challenge.

I think Fedor would have a huge advantage standing up with Lesnar. Lesnar punches are more just like pushes and he hasn't been tested with someone with great stand-up. Mir even rocked Lesnar in there second fight.
I hope that fight happens very soon before Fedor gets too old.
The Carwin-Lesnar fight would have really tested lesnar as well.

What's with the stars? Is Fedor's brother in the mafia?
Just curious...

He did some time in jail for robbery, thats where he probably got the stars. Alex was always the black sheep of the family, often got into trouble, so his connections with the mafia are highly probable. Incidentally, Alex left M-1 (Fedor's management organization) because he thought they were too corrupt lol.

I think the hype behind Lesnar is undeserved. Keep in mind that Rogers had to cut down to 265 as well, meaning he was roughly around 290lbs with his fight with Fedor (who weighed in at 232lbs). Lesnar's fights in the UFC were against Randy who really has no business in the HW division right now and Mir who isnt all that to begin with. In the case of Randy he left the light-HW division because he was getting his ass kicked by Chuck. The only reason he did well as a HW was due to the lack of talent at the time, and he was able to use his experience to overcome younger guys who were bigger than him. But there is a limit to how much experience can carry you against raw athletic ability, and Couture's fight with Lesnar is a prime example.
The fight against Mir ended in a dominating fashion, but I really think that Mir could've done a lot better and got really careless with his striking that landed him on his back. I don't see Fedor being pinned down by Brock, he's much lighter on his feet and a faster/better striker than Mir. As long as Fedor manages to avoid those steamrolling takedowns he can pull out a win in a striking match.
Just to add, I think even Rogers could take out Brock. For a guy his size he moves well, has better hands, and I dont foresee him being out-powered by Brock, his takedown recovery was pretty impressive against Fedor.
