Invisible Grin DJ's that play synths/drum machines or sing while spinning:

Where are they?

That's usually reserved for a live set of sorts. There's really no reason to DJ and play drum machines/synths, equipment overload. Also, Dandy Jack does a nice job of combining a dj set with a live set.

Hate all you want, but Infected Mushroom apparently rocks pretty hard live.

Have you seen them? I haven't seen them live, but a buddy of mine did. I don't like their music much anyways, but they at least try pretty hard to put on a decent live show.

I've always heard that BT is horrible live.

Unfortunately, yes.

They do put up a good show, but it's too bad their music sucks ass.

You're completely missing the point. The OP wants to know what DJ will sometimes add live synths or vocals over top of her/his DJ set. What you're referring to is solely an all-live performance. Apples and oranges.

I went to see PVD in Central Park a few years back and he played on the drum machine and keyboard a bit.

He's not really a DJ but the stuff he does is pretty cool.

Minus the singing, I rather enjoyed that Anoraak bit.
