-- Black Friday!!!
Black Friday!!!
Hey wsup! just having some thoughts, for the first time ever, to actually camp out around midnight on thanksgiving to take advantage of the freebie sales offered this day.
But first wanted to hear some stories, recommendations, suggestions, thoughts- hey throw in a joke by all means- from anyone thats done it or going to be doing it this year!!!
Im not 100% sure ill do it but id love to bc I REALLLLLLLLLY need a nice TV and prof. cam. Thinking about Best-Buy or Circuit City (are they still around?)
Circuit City has been closed for about a year now, maybe sooner. Best Buy seems to have some good deals though.
Id say if its electronics stick with Best Buy. For clothes you can always find some real awesome deals here and there. Last year a friend dragged me out at midnight and I ended up scoring a 75 dollar white button down for 10 dollars.
But personally id rather stay home and eat more food
i went last year and i was soooooooooooooooooooo drunk!
I stayed up all night and posted a drunk thread and got suspended
Was an experience but I was DYING. So just make sure you don't drink (too much)

Last year was the 1st time I actually went out on Thanksgiving to start the Christmas shopping...
went to the Jersey Shore outlets and there were alot of great deals. Stocked up at Pac Sun for my cousins cause the entire store was 50% off. Made out in the Columbia, Nike, Eddie Bauer and Timberland outlets as well.

It really depends on what you're looking for. Last year, we drove to Jersey to Sears at 4am for a flat screen. We walked out with a 46 or 50, I can't tell Samsung flat screen/flat panel for $1000. The only annoying thing was driving back to NY in a Mazda with the trunk open and the box tied side up to an open trunk. Every car was honking at us giving us thumbs up.
Two years ago, we went at 3am to Woodbury Commons, they didn't have anything good besides their regular sales. The traffic was about an hour to get to the exit so we drove on the shoulder. Check their site for this year, they are supposed to be doing a lot more.

| Originally posted by yumpop I remember they had a 40 for 900 and we debated for an hour between the 40, 46, 50. What I like about Sears is once you have the ticket for the item, it is yours even if you sit there for an hour looking at stuff. The people on the road were so funny and it was still early so they knew where we were coming from. |
