New Progressive Trance project.

Over the last few days these sound/melody stack in my head and I couldnt get rid of it. It was really fanny feeling because I couldnt do anything else at home, so on Tuesday and Wednesday I decided to give it a try and spend few hours working on it. This is an intro only, it will take more work but if you guys can tell me if this is something which makes sense to pursued, I would really appreciate.

Just the way it is by TranceLover007

It is battle between me and my music and Im losing it.

I was listening to some ambient stuff before this and forgot to turn my speakers down before that kick came in - I think it's safe to assume that my coworkers know that I'm not getting much work done!

Anyway, this is very cool TranceLover! I love that bass line and the pads/arp are a nice combination. Definitely finish this! This could be a very cool track to add some vocals to!

Since you comment on like every post, I feel I have to comment on yours. ^_^

I like it, the bass is cool, and I love the upward scale thing.

The one thing I can think of (I know it's got work to be done but,) the kick gets a little bit buried when everything is going on. I mean, I don't know how you want it to sit in the mix though.

Keep at it, could be a really good track.

keep working on it, your mix is getting pretty muddy/unclear. nice melody and ideas here. i wouldnt say ur kick is doing too bad, in parafanilia's track the kick is way more faded.

Posted by tehlord on Nov-12-2009 19:20:

There's absolutely some mileage in what you've done so far. Before I lose my inspiration where it stops now I can see the track instantly stripping back to a minimal kick, bassline and some percussion and a very monotone vocal start alternating between the notes B and C, then a few bars later incorporating G (higher then the B and C) and so on and so on.

You've got a good ear for melodic ideas and as with the other track i'd only suggest using some more reverb and delay to bring the track alive a bit more.

I'm not not 100% convinced with the choice of bass sound but the melody and tempo is spot on.

Hi ParafrNalia, dont feel like you have to comment on my track, but I do appreciate though. I was hoping that people will express they opinion base on quality of the music not because they feel obligated to do so, but as I said before I do appreciate anyway lol.

++Msz , as always thanks for advise man.

++Tehlord, you looks like have a lot of great ideas what to do with this track big thanks man. Im considering some of your point/ideas how to construct this remaining part of this track. Cheers for taking your time to listen my music.

++Owen, many thanks for give it a run and you comments. See you on another site man.

Keep up the good work on this site.

Cheers from Seattle.

Maybe I worded that incorrectly. I just feel that you deserve constructive criticism from others, since you so freely provide it for us.

You seem to be one of the better producers on here, so that's reason enough.

Keep up those comment coming.

I can't say that I spend a LOT of time here, but from I've heard, I agree!

This is really cool, thank man. You see, the deal is that I love what Im doing and that by itself can give me a different perspective on music, open up a lot of potentials and create an extraordinary flexibility for my music. It was one of my statements which I use before that very well represents my philosophy: Music for me is a form of expression, way to show the rest of the world my mood, my fillings, my emotional stage at that moment in time when you create my music.

Good luck and thanks one more time man.

Thank you Dave,

You already earned a lot of respect on this forum by showing us how can beauty and quality beautifully coexist in music. You spent so much time helping or giving another people help/advice that everyone on this forum should be thankful for your great work in here. Big thanks from me man.

Keep up good work Dave.

sounding good so far I can't say too much though at the moment since it is so short. I really would like to hear this developed into a full track.

No problem bro, the people who have commented on this thread (you included) are the kind of people we need more of on TranceAddict.

I understand man, I will work on it. This full version maybe slightly different when I decide to add a vocal.

Stay cool and keep up good work on this site.

This is really cool man but I'm not really sure I deserve this credit.
I know a lot of people on this forum who have the same/similar philosophy to my. In my opinion music has unlimited boundary, undiscovered territory and limitless sound frequencies and all of us can enjoy this opportunity to become unique and successful artist/producer.

Cheers from Seattle.
